By command of The Queen, Mr Charles Gray (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon His Excellency Datuk Abd Aziz Mohammed at 45 Belgrave Square, London SW1, this morning in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as High Commissioner for Malaysia in London.

The Prince of Wales, President, the National Trust for Places of Historic Interest or Natural Beauty, this morning launched the Wool Project at Wimpole Hall, Arrington, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire (Mr Hugh Duberly).

His Royal Highness, Patron, the University of Cambridge Programme for Sustainability Leadership, this afternoon attended a Meeting at the Pitt Building, Trumpington Street, Cambridge.

The Prince of Wales, Patron, afterwards visited the School of Environmental Sciences, University of East Anglia, Norwich, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Norfolk (Mr Richard Jewson).

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, this morning held a Meeting.

The Princess Royal this morning opened Brighton and Hove YMCA’s Housing and Training Centre, George Williams Centre, George Williams Mews, Portslade, Brighton, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of East Sussex (Mr Peter Field).

Her Royal Highness, President, Save the Children UK, this afternoon visited a Shop at 74 Blatchington Road, Hove, and was received by Mr Roger French (Deputy Lieutenant of East Sussex).

The Princess Royal later opened Tideway School, Southdown Road, Newhaven, East Sussex.

Her Royal Highness, President, UK Fashion and Textile Association, later visited Cornelia James Limited, Unit 4, Cliffe Industrial Estate, Lewes, and was received by Mrs Sara Stonor (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of East Sussex).

The Princess Royal, President, Save the Children UK, this evening attended the Jebb Circle Launch Reception at Paramount, Centre Point, 103 New Oxford Street, London WC1.

Kensington Palace

The Duchess of Gloucester, Patron, World War One Veterans Association, this afternoon received Mr Dennis Goodwin (Founder).

Thatched House Lodge, Richmond Park

Princess Alexandra, Patron, Fairbridge, this afternoon received Mr Antony Beevor at Buckingham Palace upon relinquishing his appointment as Chairman and Mr William Eccles upon assuming the appointment.

Her Royal Highness, Royal Honorary Colonel, The Royal Yeomanry, received Lieutenant Colonel Dominic Guinness upon relinquishing his appointment as Commanding Officer.

Lieutenant General Sir Robert Hayman-Joyce (Honorary Colonel) was present.
