Buckingham Palace

The Duke of Edinburgh this evening held a Reception for the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust, at The Queen’s Gallery, Buckingham Palace.

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were represented by the Lord Fellowes (Secretary and Registrar of the Order of Merit) at the Funeral Service for Professor Sir James Black OM which was held in St. Columba’s Church, Pont Street, London SW1, this morning.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales this morning received Mr. Carwyn Jones AM (First Minister, National Assembly for Wales).

His Royal Highness this evening received Prince Khalid Al-Faisal bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud (Governor of Makkah Region, Saudi Arabia).

Buckingham Palace

The Princess Royal this morning re-opened Haymarket Metro Station, Newcastle upon Tyne, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Tyne and Wear (Mr. Nigel Sherlock).

Her Royal Highness this afternoon visited Beacon Hill School and Specialist College for Business and Enterprise, Rising Sun Cottages, Wallsend, Tyne and Wear.

The Princess Royal afterwards visited Ovington Boats Limited, 31 Tanners Bank, North Shields, Tyne and Wear.

Kensington Palace

The Duchess of Gloucester, Patron, the National Association for Gifted Children, today attended the Annual Awards Ceremony at Trinity House, Tower Hill, London EC3.
