Clarence House

The Prince of Wales this afternoon took the Review of Queen’s Scouts at Windsor Castle and subsequently attended the National Scout Service in St. George’s Chapel.

Buckingham Palace

The Princess Royal, Colonel-in-Chief, Royal Newfoundland Regiment, this morning attended a Regimental Church Service in the Anglican Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada.

Her Royal Highness later attended a Memorial Service and laid a wreath at the Caribou Memorial and subsequently attended a Reception with Veterans at Bowring Park, St. John’s.

The Princess Royal, Colonel-in-Chief, Royal Newfoundland Regiment, this afternoon attended a Reception at the Department of Veteran Affairs, Caribou Memorial Veterans Pavilion, St. John’s.

Her Royal Highness this evening arrived at Royal Air Force Lyneham from Canada.

Mrs. Charles Ritchie was in attendance.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, representing The Queen, this morning attended a Service of Commemoration and Thanksgiving in Westminster Abbey, London SW1, to mark Australian and New Zealand Army Corps Day.

Thatched House Lodge, Richmond Park

Princess Alexandra, Colonel-in-Chief, The Queen’s Own Rifles of Canada, today carried out the following engagements in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Her Royal Highness this morning laid a wreath and attended a Service in St. Paul’s Anglican Church to mark the One Hundred and Fiftieth Anniversary of the Regiment and afterwards attended a Regimental Parade at the Church.

Princess Alexandra this afternoon attended a Reception for the Regiment at Moss Park Armoury.

Her Royal Highness this evening attended the One Hundred and Fiftieth Anniversary Dinner of the Regiment’s Toronto Branch at the Westin Harbour Castle Hotel.
