Balmoral Castle

The Rt Hon Alex Salmond MP, MSP (First Minister of the Scottish Executive) and Mrs Salmond have left the Castle.

Buckingham Palace

The Earl of Wessex, Vice Patron, the Commonwealth Games Federation, this evening attended a Reception at The Queen’s Gallery, Buckingham Palace.

His Royal Highness later attended the Anglo Chilean Bicentenary Dinner at Vintners’ Hall, Upper Thames Street, London EC4.

The Countess of Wessex, Patron, the National Autistic Society, this morning opened the new school building at Grange Park School, Borough Green Road, Wrotham, Sevenoaks, and was received by Group Captain Patrick Tootal (Deputy Lieutenant of Kent).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, St. Mary’s Wrestwood Children’s Trust, today visited St Mary’s School, Wrestwood Road, Bexhill-on-Sea, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of East Sussex (Mr Peter Field).

The Countess of Wessex this afternoon visited the Royal British Legion Mais House, 18 Hastings Road, Bexhill-on-Sea.

Buckingham Palace

The Princess Royal this morning opened a new factory at Jabez Cliff and Company Limited, Badgers Yard, Aldridge Road, Walsall, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of West Midlands (Mr Paul Sabapathy).

Her Royal Highness this afternoon opened the National Brewery Centre, Horninglow Street, Burton upon Trent, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Staffordshire (Sir James Hawley).

The Princess Royal, Patron, the National Association of Citizens Advice Bureaux, later opened Kidsgrove Customer Service Centre and Kidsgrove Citizens Advice Bureau, Kidsgrove Town Hall, Liverpool Road, Kidsgrove, Staffordshire.

Her Royal Highness, President, The Princess Royal Trust for Carers, this evening attended the Big Reveal 2010 Fashion Show and Dinner at Royal Lancaster Hotel, Lancaster Terrace, London W2.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, Vice President, the British Leprosy Relief Association, this morning received Mr Terry Vasey upon relinquishing his appointment as Chief Executive Officer and Ms Sarah Nancollas upon assuming the appointment.

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Kent this morning received the Baroness Greenfield.

His Royal Highness, Patron, this afternoon unveiled a bust of Chopin at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, King Charles Court, Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich, London SE10.

Thatched House Lodge, Richmond Park

Princess Alexandra, Patron, this morning visited the Queen Mother’s Clothing Guild at St James’s Palace.
