The Earl and Countess of Wessex this afternoon held a Lunch for Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenants of the Wessex region.

The Princess Royal, Director, London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games, this morning received Mr. Sang Heung Shin (Chief Executive Officer and President, Samsung Europe) and Mr. David Song (Managing Director, Samsung Electronics UK and Ireland).

Her Royal Highness, President, Animal Health Trust, later chaired a Council of Management Meeting at the Kennel Club, 1-5 Clarges Street, Piccadilly, London W1.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester this afternoon officially opened the Sixth Form Boarding House at Stonyhurst College, Clitheroe, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Lancashire (the Lord Shuttleworth).

His Royal Highness later opened the renovated Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust Unit at Guild Lodge, Guild Park, Whittingham Lane, Preston.

The Duke of Gloucester subsequently visited Frank Gardham House, Guild Park.

The Duchess of Gloucester this morning departed St Pancras International Railway Station, London, for France and was received at Gare du Nord Station, Paris, by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the French Republic (His Excellency Sir Peter Westmacott).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, the Development Project, this afternoon officially opened the new Junior School, British School of Paris, 38 Quai de l’Écluse, Croissy-sur-Seine, Paris.

The Duchess of Gloucester this evening arrived at St Pancras International Railway Station.

Mrs. Howard Page was in attendance.

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Kent this afternoon visited Headley Court Military Hospital, Headley, Epsom, Surrey.

His Royal Highness, Patron, this evening attended a Concert by the London Philharmonic Orchestra at the Royal Festival Hall, London SE1.
