The Duke of Edinburgh this afternoon visited the Brompton Bicycle Limited Factory, Lionel Road South, Brentford, Middlesex, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir David Brewer).

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, this afternoon held a Meeting.

The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice Admiral Timothy Laurence, this morning arrived at Seychelles International Airport and was received by the British High Commissioner to the Republic of Seychelles (His Excellency Mr. Matthew Forbes).

Her Royal Highness, accompanied by Vice Admiral Laurence, this afternoon laid a wreath at the Commonwealth War Graves, Mont-Fleuri Cemetery, Victoria.

The Princess Royal, Chancellor, University of London, accompanied by Vice Admiral Timothy Laurence, later opened the University of Seychelles, Anse Royal, Mahé.

Her Royal Highness, accompanied by Vice Admiral Laurence, was received this evening by The President of the Republic of Seychelles at State House, Victoria.

The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice Admiral Timothy Laurence, afterwards attended a Reception given by The President of the Republic of Seychelles at State House.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester this morning opened the Sheina Marshall Building at the Scottish Association for Marine Science Teaching Facility, Dunstaffnage, near Oban, Argyllshire, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Argyll and Bute (Mr. Kenneth MacKinnon).

The Duchess of Gloucester, Patron, Friends of St. Paul’s Cathedral, this afternoon received Mr. Patrick Wilkins upon relinquishing his appointment as Secretary.
