COURT CIRCULAR

Buckingham Palace

By command of The Queen, Mr Charles Gray (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon His Excellency Mr Tran Quang Hoan at 12-14 Victoria Road, London W8, this afternoon in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as Ambassador from the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to the Court of St James’s.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales this afternoon received Mr Peter Seligmann (Co-founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Conservation International).

His Royal Highness this evening held a Meeting for the International Sustainability Unit and non-governmental organisations at Clarence House, followed by a Dinner.

Buckingham Palace

The Duke of York, Special Representative for International Trade and Investment, this afternoon received Dr Antony Stokes (Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam).

His Royal Highness, Patron, this evening gave a Dinner for the Jubilee Sailing Trust at Buckingham Palace.

Buckingham Palace

The Earl of Wessex, Patron, New Marlowe Theatre Campaign, this morning visited the theatre site at the Friars, Canterbury, and was received by the Viscount De L’Isle (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Kent).

His Royal Highness, Patron, New Marlowe Theatre Campaign, this afternoon attended a Reception at the King’s School, Canterbury.

Buckingham Palace

The Princess Royal this afternoon visited Newport Wastesavers Charitable Trust, Unit 6, Esperanto Way, Newport, Monmouthshire, to mark their Twenty Fifth Anniversary, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Gwent (Mr Simon Boyle).

Her Royal Highness afterwards opened Nant Celyn Primary School, Henllys Way, Cwmbran.

The Princess Royal later opened United Welsh Housing Association’s first Housing with Care scheme at Plas Hyfryd, 74 Ffordd y Maes, Caerphilly.

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Kent this morning visited the Chilterns Multiple Sclerosis Centre at Scarlett Avenue, Halton, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.

His Royal Highness later attended a Citizenship Ceremony at Halton House, Royal Air Force Halton, Aylesbury.
