COURT CIRCULAR

Buckingham Palace

The Duke of Edinburgh was present at the Service of Celebration for the Life of Mr David Key (Chauffeur to His Royal Highness) which was held in St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, this afternoon.

The Duke of Edinburgh, Patron, Outward Bound Trust, this evening held a Dinner at Frogmore House, Windsor.

The Queen was represented by Colonel Toby Browne (Crown Equerry) at the Service of Celebration for the Life of Mr David Key (Chauffeur to The Duke of Edinburgh) which was held in St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, this afternoon.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this morning departed from Royal Air Force Lyneham for Portugal and were received upon arrival this afternoon at Portela (Military Airport), Lisbon, by Mrs Joanna Kuenssberg O’Sullivan (Chargé d’Affaires).

Their Royal Highnesses later visited Jeronimos Monastery, Praça do Império, Lisbon, and laid flowers at the tomb of Luis Camões.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall were afterwards received by The President of the Republic of Portugal and Dr Maria Cavaco Silva at Belém Palace.

The Prince of Wales subsequently attended a Meeting with The President.

His Royal Highness, Vice Patron, British Council, and The Duchess of Cornwall later visited the Naval Academy, Lisbon.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this evening attended a Dinner given by The President of the Republic of Portugal at Queluz Palace, Lisbon.

The Duchess of Cornwall this afternoon visited the Carriage Museum at Belém Palace.

Mr Clive Alderton, Mrs Joy-Maria Camm, Mr Patrick Harverson and Major William Mackinlay are in attendance.

Buckingham Palace

The Duke of York, Chairman of the Trustees, Outward Bound Trust, this morning held a Trustees’ Meeting.

His Royal Highness this afternoon attended the Gold and Silver Tie Luncheon at the Naval and Military Club, 4 St James’s Square, London SW1.

The Duke of York, Patron, Soundseekers, later received Mr Gary Williams (Chief Executive), Ms Amy Fallowfield (Fundraising Manager), Professor Deepak Prasher (Trustee) and Mr Roger Green (Audiologist).

His Royal Highness, Special Representative for International Trade and Investment, received Sir Paul Smith (Founder and Chairman of Paul Smith Limited Nottingham).
