Buckingham Palace

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey and Mrs Erdogan were received by The Queen today.

Mr Ian McGregor was received by The Queen upon relinquishing his appointment as Deputy Keeper of the Privy Purse when Her Majesty invested him with the Insignia of a Commander of the Royal Victorian Order.

Major Simon Robinson was received by The Queen upon relinquishing his appointment as Crown Equerry when Her Majesty invested him with the Insignia of a Lieutenant of the Royal Victorian Order.

The Duke of Edinburgh, Colonel-in-Chief, Corps of Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, this morning visited Units at Tidworth Garrison, Wiltshire.

His Royal Highness, Elder Brother and Master, the Corporation of Trinity House, this evening attended a Younger Brethren’s Dinner at Trinity House, Tower Hill, London EC3.

The Princess Royal, on behalf of The Queen, held an Investiture at Buckingham Palace this morning.

The Prince of Wales this morning called upon Mr José Luis Rodriguez Zapatero (Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Spain) at Moncloa Palace, Madrid.

The Prince of Wales, accompanied by The Duchess of Cornwall, afterwards visited the Plaza de la Villa, Madrid, and was received by the Mayor of Madrid who presented His Royal Highness with a Key to the City of Madrid.

The Prince of Wales subsequently visited Repsol Technology Centre, Móstoles, Madrid, and was received by The Prince of Asturias.

His Royal Highness this afternoon attended a Meeting with business leaders at Fundación Rafael del Pino, Madrid.

The Prince of Wales later received Mrs Rosa Aguilar (Minister for the Environment, Rural and Marine Affairs) at el Pardo Royal Palace.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this evening attended a Reception and Concert at the Ritz Hotel, Madrid, given by the British Hispanic Foundation.

The Duchess of Cornwall this morning visited Once Guide Dog Foundation and was received by The Princess of Asturias.

Her Royal Highness, President, the Maggie Keswick Jencks Cancer Caring Centres Trust, this afternoon received members of Maggie’s Barcelona team at el Pardo Royal Palace.

The Duke of York this morning visited HMS Dauntless at sea off Plymouth (Captain Richard Powell RN).

His Royal Highness, Special Representative for International Trade and Investment, today attended a Lunch given by Plymouth Area Business Council at Stonehouse Barracks, Plymouth, Devon.

The Duke of York this afternoon visited Goodrich Sensors and Integrated Systems, Clittaford Road, Southway, Plymouth.

His Royal Highness, Commodore-in-Chief, Fleet Air Arm, this evening attended the Royal Navy Aviation Warfare Officers’ Dinner at HMS Collingwood, Newgate Lane, Fareham, Hampshire.

The Earl of Wessex this morning departed Heathrow Airport, London, for France.

His Royal Highness this evening attended a Reception given by British Ski and Snowboard at the Hotel Allodis, Meribel.

The Countess of Wessex this evening attended a Scene and Heard Production of Twist and Turn — the Giddy Plays at Teatro Technics, 26 Crowndale Road, London NW1, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir David Brewer).

The Princess Royal, Chancellor, University of London, this morning received Professor Geoffrey Crossick (Vice Chancellor).

Her Royal Highness this afternoon opened the United Kingdom Academy of Medical Sciences’ Headquarters at 41 Portland Place, London W1, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir David Brewer).

The Princess Royal, Master, the Worshipful Company of Butchers, accompanied by Vice Admiral Timothy Laurence, this evening attended the Lord Mayor’s Banquet at the Mansion House, London EC4.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, Chancellor, University of Worcester, this evening attended a Dinner at the House of Lords, London SW1.

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Kent today visited Staffordshire and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant (Sir James Hawley).

His Royal Highness this morning visited St Giles Hospice, Fisherwick Road, Whittington.

The Duke of Kent afterwards visited Collinson Park, Barton under Needwood.

His Royal Highness this afternoon visited Marston’s Brewery, Shobnall Road, Burton on Trent.

The Duke of Kent later visited the National Memorial Arboretum, Croxall Road, Alrewas.
