Buckingham Palace

The Queen this morning visited The King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery at St John’s Wood Barracks, Ordnance Hill, London NW8, and was received by the Commanding Officer (Major Neil Cross).

Her Majesty inspected the Parade and subsequently viewed an equitation display.

The Queen later met soldiers and their families and afterwards was entertained to Luncheon in the Officers’ Mess.

Clarence House

The President of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana called upon The Prince of Wales this afternoon.

Buckingham Palace

The Duke of York, Visitor, this morning visited Royal Hospital School, Holbrook, Ipswich, and was received by Mrs. Diana Hunt (Deputy Lieutenant of Suffolk).

His Royal Highness this afternoon received Mr Jonathan Ive (Senior Vice President of Industrial Design, Apple Inc).

Buckingham Palace

The Earl of Wessex this evening arrived at Heathrow Airport, London, from the United States of America.

Mrs Rosemary Hamer was in attendance.

Buckingham Palace

The Princess Royal, Patron, Townswomen’s Guilds, this morning attended the Annual General Meeting at the International Convention Centre, Broad Street, Birmingham, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of West Midlands (Mr Paul Sabapathy).

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Kent, President, Commonwealth War Graves Commission, today received Admiral Sir Ian Garnet (Vice Chairman).

His Royal Highness, President, attended the Friday evening lecture at the Royal Institution of Great Britain, 21 Albemarle Street, London W1.

Thatched House Lodge, Richmond Park

Princess Alexandra, Honorary Patron, American Associates of the Royal Academy Trust, this evening gave a Reception at St James’s Palace.
