The President and Mrs. Gül later visited the Olympic Park, Stratford, London E15, and were received by the Rt. Hon. William Hague MP (Secretary of State, Foreign and Commonwealth Office), Mr. Craig Reddie (London Organising Committee for the Olympic Games) and Mr. John Armitt (Chairman, Olympic Delivery Authority).
The President of the Republic of Turkey this afternoon attended a Forum Lunch at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, King Charles Street, London SW1, and was received by the Rt. Hon. David Lidington MP (Minister of State, Foreign and Commonwealth Office) and Mr. Ali Babacan (Minister of State and Deputy Prime Minister of Turkey).
The President and Mrs. Gül later called upon The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall at Clarence House.
The President of the Republic of Turkey and Mrs. Gül afterwards visited the Palace of Westminster and were received by the Lord Speaker (the Baroness D’Souza) and the Speaker of the House of Commons (the Rt. Hon. John Bercow MP).
The Speaker welcomed His Excellency and Mrs. Gül and The President delivered an Address.
The President of the Republic of Turkey and Mrs. Gül subsequently attended a Reception with All-Party Parliamentary Groups, Peers, Members of Parliament and other guests.
The President and Mrs. Gül this evening received an Address of Welcome and were entertained at a Banquet by the Rt. Hon. the Lord Mayor and the City of London Corporation at Guildhall.

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh today visited Admiralty House, Parliament Street, Whitehall, London SW1, for His Royal Highness’s Inauguration as Lord High Admiral and were received by the First Sea Lord and Chief of the Naval Staff (Admiral Sir Mark Stanhope).
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh met members of the Navy Board, before His Royal Highness, accompanied by Her Majesty, received the Letters Patent and the Lord High Admiral’s Verge and Flag and The Duke of Edinburgh was subsequently received in the Courtyard with a Royal Salute.
Her Majesty and His Royal Highness were entertained to Luncheon afterwards by the First Sea Lord and Chief of the Naval Staff.
