COURT CIRCULAR

Buckingham Palace

The Duke of Edinburgh, Colonel, Grenadier Guards, this morning visited the 1st Battalion at Lille Barracks, Aldershot, Hampshire.

His Royal Highness, Trustee, The Prince Philip Trust Fund for the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, this evening attended a Trustees’ Meeting and Dinner at Frogmore House, Windsor, Berkshire.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales, Duke of Cornwall this morning opened the Waitrose Poundbury branch and afterwards opened the new Dorset Headquarters of the British Red Cross development, Poundbury.

The Duchess of Cornwall, President, National Osteoporosis Society, this morning visited the set of “Strictly Come Dancing” at BBC Television Centre, Wood Lane, London W12.

Her Royal Highness this afternoon visited Heywood Preparatory School and opened the new all-weather playing field, the Priory, Priory Street, Corsham, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Wiltshire (Mr. John Bush).

The Earl of Wessex, President, Seafarers UK (King George’s Fund for Sailors), this morning held at Meeting.

His Royal Highness, Trustee, The Prince Philip Trust Fund for the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, this evening attended a Trustees’ Meeting and Dinner at Frogmore House, Windsor, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the Royal County of Berkshire (the Hon. Mrs. Bayliss).

The Countess of Wessex this morning arrived at Heathrow Airport, London, from Canada.

Mrs. Suzanne Lofthouse-Jackson was in attendance.

The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this evening attended a Biennial Reunion Dinner of the Association of Royal Yachtsmen at HMS COLLINGWOOD, Newgate Lane, Fareham, Hampshire.

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Kent, President, Royal Institution of Great Britain, this evening attended the Friday Evening Discourse, entitled “the Science and Politics of Climate Change” by Sir David King at 21 Albemarle Street, London W1.
