Buckingham Palace
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh today walked from Windsor Castle to the Guildhall, Windsor, where they attended a Reception to mark the Diamond Jubilee and were received by Her Majesty’s LordLieutenant of the Royal County of Berkshire (the Hon Mrs Bayliss) and the Mayor of the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead (Councillor Asghar Majeed).
Her Majesty held a Council at Windsor Castle at 5.30 p.m..
There were present: the Rt Hon Caroline Spelman MP (Acting Lord President), the Rt Hon Simon Burns MP (Minister of State, Department of Health), the Rt Hon Gregory Clark MP (Minister of State, Department for Communities and Local Government) and the Baroness Warsi (Minister without Portfolio, Cabinet Office).
Mr Richard Tilbrook was in attendance as Clerk of the Council.
The Rt Hon Caroline Spelman MP had an audience of The Queen before the Council.

The Prince of Wales, Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Gurkha Rifles, this morning visited members of 1st Battalion on Salisbury Plain, Wiltshire.
His Royal Highness, Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Gurkha Rifles, this afternoon visited soldiers and families of 1st Battalion at Sir John Moore Barracks, Shorncliffe, Folkestone, Kent, and subsequently laid a wreath at the Memorial Garden.
The Prince of Wales President, the National Trust for Places of Historic Interest or Natural Beauty, later visited Knole, Sevenoaks, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Kent (the Viscount De L’Isle).

The Duke of York on behalf of The Queen in celebration of the Diamond Jubilee today carried out the following engagements in New Delhi, India.
His Royal Highness morning attended a meeting with Professor K. Srinath Reddy (President, the Public Health Foundation of India) at the Leela Palace Hotel.
The Duke of York afterwards named Jubilee Walk at the British High Commission.
His Royal Highness this afternoon attended a Lunch given by the British High Commissioner to India (His Excellency Mr James Bevan) at the Residence.
The Duke of York later visited the Agragami Khushali Project, Madanpur Khader.
His Royal Highness subsequently called upon the Indian Foreign Minister at the Ministry of External Affairs.
The Duke of York this evening attended a Reception to mark the Diamond Jubilee given by the British High Commissioner to India at the Residence.

The Earl of Wessex this morning arrived at Heathrow Airport, London, from the United States of America.
Mrs Rosemary Hamer was in attendance.

The Princess Royal, Master, the Corporation of Trinity House, this evening attended the Younger Brethren’s Dinner at Trinity House, Trinity Square, London EC3.
St James’s Palace
The Duke of Kent, President, this evening attended a Reception to celebrate the Twenty Fifth Anniversary of the purchase of the freehold of the Cavalry and Guards Club, 127 Piccadilly, London W1.
His Royal Highness, President, Wellington College, later attended a Gala Performance at the Royal Albert Hall, Kensington Gore, London SW7.
