Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Anglian Regiment, this afternoon attended a Parade to mark the Two Hundredth Anniversary of the Battle of Salamanca, at the Headquarters, Blenheim House, Eagle Way, Warley, Brentwood, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Essex (the Lord Petre).

Appendix to Court Circular

The Queen has approved the following promotions within Her Majesty’s Body Guard of the Honourable Corps of Gentlemen at Arms:

Major Jeremy Warren to be Lieutenant upon the retirement of Lieutenant Colonel Peter Chamberlin.

Colonel Robin Broke to be Clerk of the Cheque and Adjutant upon the promotion of Major Jeremy Warren.

The appointments to date from 24th June, 2012.
