Buckingham Palace 

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were entertained to Luncheon by the present and former Prime Ministers at No 10 Downing Street, London SW1, this afternoon.

The Duke of Edinburgh, Air Commodore in Chief, Air Training Corps, this morning received Air Commodore Barbara Cooper upon relinquishing her appointment as Commandant of the Air Cadets and Air Commodore Dawn McCafferty upon assuming the appointment.

Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir David Brewer) was present at Heathrow Airport, London, today upon the arrival of The President of the Republic of Fiji and welcomed His Excellency on behalf of The Queen.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales, President, the National Trust for Places of Historic Interest or Natural Beauty, this morning visited Lindisfarne Castle, Holy Island, Berwick-upon-Tweed, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Northumberland (the Duchess of Northumberland).

His Royal Highness afterwards visited the newly renovated Lookout Tower and met representatives of the Holy Island Development Trust, Holy Island.

The Prince of Wales this afternoon visited the Parish Church of St Mary the Virgin, Holy Island.

His Royal Highness afterwards visited the Royal National Lifeboat Institution Grace Darling Museum, One Radcliffe Road, Bamburgh, Northumberland.

The Prince of Wales, President, the Marine Conservation Society, subsequently visited Bamburgh beach.

His Royal Highness later visited North Sunderland Harbour, Seafield Road, Seahouses, Northumberland.

The Prince of Wales afterwards visited Swallowfish Smokery and Shop, 2 South Street, Seahouses.

His Royal Highness, President, the National Trust for Places of Historic Interest or Natural Beauty, later visited the Ship Inn and Microbrewery, Low Newton by-the-Sea, Alnwick, Northumberland.

The Prince of Wales, Patron, the Alnwick Garden Trust, this evening opened Jamie’s Ministry of Food at the Alnwick Garden, Alnwick.

The Duke of York this morning visited the Schools Aerospace Challenge at Cranfield University, Cranfield, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Bedfordshire (Mrs Helen Nellis).

His Royal Highness later visited Scira Offshore Energy Limited, Polka Road, Wells-next-the-Sea, and was received by the Mr Robert Carter (Deputy Lieutenant of Norfolk).

The Duke of York this afternoon visited Gardline Marine Sciences Limited, Wells-next-the-Sea Outer Harbour.

His Royal Highness afterwards attended the United Kingdom Offshore Wind Industry Round Table at Scira Offshore Energy Limited.

Buckingham Palace 

The Earl of Wessex this morning re-opened the newly restored South Hill Park, Ringmead, Bracknell, and was received by Mr James Puxley (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of the Royal County of Berkshire).

His Royal Highness, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, today opened the Windsor Great Park Summer 2012 Campsite in the Great Park, Windsor.

The Countess of Wessex this morning opened the new offices of British Wool Marketing Board, Wool House, Sidings Close, Canal Road, Bradford, and was received by Mr Stanley Hardy (Deputy Lieutenant of West Yorkshire).

Her Royal Highness this afternoon visited Haworth Scouring, Cashmere Works, Birksland Street, Bradford.

The Countess of Wessex afterwards visited Bulmer and Lumb Limited, Buttershaw, Bradford.

Her Royal Highness later visited Westex Carpets Limited, Castle Mills, Moorend, Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire.

Buckingham Palace 

The Princess Royal, Member, International Olympic Committee, this morning attended the International Olympic Committee Session at the Grosvenor House Hotel, 90 Park Lane, London W1.

Her Royal Highness, President, British Olympic Association, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this evening attended the Team GB Welcome Ceremony and Reception at the Athletes’ Village, Olympic Park, Stratford, London E20.

Kensington Palace 

The Duke of Gloucester this afternoon visited Aberdeen Cyrenians, 62 Summer Street, Aberdeen, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Aberdeen (Councillor George Adam, the Lord Provost).

His Royal Highness afterwards re-opened Rutherieston House, 199 Broomhill Road, Aberdeen.

The Duke of Gloucester later opened the New Oliver Wing at Albyn School, 17-23 Queen’s Road, Aberdeen.

St James’s Palace 

The Duke of Kent this morning received His Excellency Mr Konstantin Dimitrov (Ambassador from the Republic of Bulgaria).

Thatched House Lodge, Richmond Park 

Princess Alexandra, Patron, Anchor Trust, this afternoon opened a new care home, West Hall, Parvis Road, West Byfleet, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Surrey (Dame Sarah Goad).
