Buckingham Palace 

Colonel Michael Dudding (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London) was present at London City Airport today upon the Arrival of The President of the Republic of France and welcomed His Excellency on behalf of The Queen.

Clarence House 

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay, President, The Prince’s Regeneration Trust, this morning opened the Flagstone Cottage (the Backies), Castletown, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Caithness (Miss Anne Dunnett).

His Royal Highness afterwards visited the offices of the North Highland Initiative in Wick, Caithness, and subsequently visited Wick Harbour.

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay, this afternoon visited a farm in Sibster, Wick.

His Royal Highness later received Mr David Whiteford (Chairman, the North Highland Initiative) and Mr Thomas Campbell (Chief Executive).

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay this evening received Mr Gregory Barker MP (Minister of State for Energy and Climate Change).

His Royal Highness afterwards held a Reception at the Castle of Mey to mark the launch of the Department of Energy and Climate Change’s Marine Energy Park.

The Duchess of Cornwall, Patron, the British Equestrian Federation, this morning visited the Olympic Games.

St James’s Palace 

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Henry of Wales, Official Ambassadors, today visited the Olympic Games.

The Duchess of Cambridge this evening attended the United Kingdom’s Creative Industries Reception at the Royal Academy of Arts, Burlington House, Piccadilly, London W1.

Buckingham Palace 

The Princess Royal, Member, International Olympic Committee, and President, British Olympic Association, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, today visited the Olympic Games.
