The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Henry of Wales, Official Ambassadors, today visited the Olympic Games.

Mr Alastair Watson was received by The Duke of York today upon relinquishing his appointment as Private Secretary and Treasurer to His Royal Highness.

The Princess Royal, Member, International Olympic Committee, and President, British Olympic Association, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, today visited the Olympic Games.

Her Royal Highness, President, British Olympic Association, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this evening attended a Reception for National Olympic Committee Members at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, London WC2.

Kensington Palace

The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester this afternoon visited the Olympic Games at Lee Valley White Water Centre, Station Road, Waltham Cross, Hertfordshire.

Appendix to Court Circular

The Queen has been pleased to appoint the Reverend Hugh Palmer to be a Chaplain to Her Majesty in succession to the Reverend William Mowll.

The Duke of York has been pleased to appoint Mrs Amanda Thirsk to be Private Secretary and Treasurer to His Royal Highness in succession to Mr Alastair Watson.
