COURT CIRCULAR

Balmoral Castle 

The Rt Hon David Cameron MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) and Mrs Cameron have arrived at the Castle.

The Duke of Edinburgh was represented by Sir Brian McGrath (Extra Equerry) at the Memorial Service for the Life of Major Hugh Dawnay which was held in the Royal Memorial Chapel, Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, Camberley, Surrey, this afternoon.

Clarence House 

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay, President, the Great Steward of Scotland’s Dumfries House Trust, and The Duchess of Rothesay this afternoon attended the Raceday at Ayr Racecourse and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Ayrshire and Arran (Mr John Duncan).

Their Royal Highnesses later received the Rt Hon David Cameron MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) and Mrs Cameron.

Buckingham Palace 

The Earl of Wessex, Honorary Liveryman, the Worshipful Company of Haberdashers, and The Countess of Wessex this evening attended the Company’s Diamond Jubilee Ball at Haberdashers’ Hall, 18 West Smithfield, London EC1.

Buckingham Palace 

The Princess Royal, President, Victim Support, this morning opened new offices at Amber House, Market Street, Bracknell, and was received by Judge Charles Elly (Deputy Lieutenant of the Royal County of Berkshire).

Her Royal Highness, President, the Royal British Legion Women’s Section, later laid a wreath at the Dedication Ceremony of the United States Servicemen’s Memorial at New Greenham Park, Greenham Common, Thatcham, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the Royal County of Berkshire (the Hon Mrs Bayliss).

Thatched House Lodge, Richmond Park 

Princess Alexandra this afternoon visited Cranleigh School, Horseshoe Lane, Cranleigh, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Surrey (Dame Sarah Goad).

Her Royal Highness, Royal Patron, Alzheimer’s Society, this afternoon visited Cedar Court Care Home, Essex Drive, Cranleigh.

Princess Alexandra later visited Hill House Dementia Day Care Centre, Beacon Hill Road, Ewshot, near Farnham, Surrey.

Her Royal Highness afterwards attended a Citizenship Ceremony at County Hall, Penrhyn Road, Kingston upon Thames, Surrey.
