His Highness, accompanied by The Duke of York, afterwards attended a Meeting with British Industry Leaders at Lancaster House, London SW1.
The Amir of the State of Kuwait, accompanied by His Royal Highness, this afternoon attended a Reception given by Kuwait Investment Authority at Lancaster House.
His Highness later visited No 10 Downing Street and had talks with the Prime Minister and subsequently was entertained to Luncheon by the Prime Minister on behalf of Her Majesty’s Government.
The Amir of the State of Kuwait this evening received an Address of Welcome and was entertained at a Banquet by the Rt Hon the Lord Mayor and the City of London Corporation at Guildhall.

The Queen this afternoon visited Thames Hospicecare, Pine Lodge, Hatch Lane, Windsor, to commemorate its Twenty Fifth Anniversary and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the Royal County of Berkshire (the Hon Mrs Bayliss), the Chairman of the Board of Trustees (Mr Martin Jervis) and the Mayor of the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead (Councillor Colin Rayner).
Her Majesty, escorted by Ms Jacqueline Clark (Chief Executive), toured the Hospice, visiting the In-Patient Unit, a ward, the training room and offices, and meeting patients and families, members of staff and volunteers, and fundraisers and supporters.
The Prince of Wales this morning received His Excellency Mr John Dauth (High Commissioner for the Commonwealth of Australia).
His Royal Highness, President, The Prince’s Drawing School, later held a Meeting.

The Duchess of Cornwall, Honorary Air Commodore, Royal Air Force Leeming, today received Group Captain Anthony Innes upon relinquishing his appointment as Station Commander and Group Captain Stephen Reeves upon assuming the appointment.
