Buckingham Palace 

Sir Jon Cunliffe was received in audience by The Queen today and kissed hands upon his appointment as United Kingdom Permanent Representative to the European Union in Brussels.

Lady Cunliffe was also received by Her Majesty.

His Excellency Mr Kamalesh Sharma (Commonwealth Secretary-General) was received by The Queen.

The Hon Michael Rann was received by The Queen upon on his appointment as High Commissioner for Australia in London.

Mrs Rann was also received by Her Majesty.

The Duke of Edinburgh, Patron, this morning received Air Chief Marshal Sir Glenn Torpy upon assuming his appointment as Chairman of the Royal Air Force Museum.

Air Vice Marshal Peter Dye (Director General) was present.

His Royal Highness, Patron, Interact Worldwide, received Ms Marie Staunton upon relinquishing her appointment as Chief Executive Officer and Ms Tanya Barron upon assuming the appointment.

The Duke of Edinburgh received Colonel Paul Cautley (Colonel Commandant, Royal Marine Cadets).

Clarence House 

The Prince of Wales this morning visited Great Ormond Street Hospital, Great Ormond Street, London WC1, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir David Brewer).

His Royal Highness this after-noon held a College of Medicine Meeting.

The Prince of Wales, Patron, Plantlife International, later held a Coronation Meadows Meeting.

The Duchess of Cornwall, Patron, Booktrust, this afternoon launched the “Get Dads Reading” campaign at West Greenwich Library, 146 Greenwich High Road, London SE10, and was received by Dr Pieter van der Merwe (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, later visited the Fan Museum, 12 Croom’s Hill, London SE10.

St James’s Palace 

The Duchess of Cambridge, Patron, The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry, this morning held a Meeting concerning Palliative Care for Children and Young People.

Buckingham Palace 

The Princess Royal, Patron, the Butler Trust, this morning visited HM Prison Leyhill, Wootton-under-Edge, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire (Dame Janet Trotter).

Her Royal Highness later opened the renovated Blackbridge Athletics Track, Poplar Close, Gloucester.
