Buckingham Palace 

The Lord Peel (Lord Chamberlain) had an audience of The Queen this afternoon and presented an Address from the House of Lords to which Her Majesty was graciously pleased to make reply.

By command of The Queen, Mr Charles Gray (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon Her Excellency Ms Ruth Elizabeth Rouse at the Chapel, Archel Road, London W14, this morning in order to bid farewell to Her Excellency upon relinquishing her appointment as High Commissioner for Grenada in London.

Clarence House 

The Prince of Wales, President, Royal Agricultural University, this morning opened the new garden at Kemble Railway Station and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire (Dame Janet Trotter).

His Royal Highness, Patron, this afternoon held a Meeting for the Soil Association.

St James’s Palace 

Prince Henry of Wales, Patron, this evening attended a private view of the “Stories of Hope” Exhibition in aid of Sentebale at the Getty Images Gallery, 46 Eastcastle Street, London W1.

Buckingham Palace 

The Duke of York, Colonel-in-Chief, The Yorkshire Regiment (14th/15th, 19th and 33rd/76th Foot), this morning attended a Colours Parade and Luncheon in Warminster and was received by General Sir John Wilsey (Deputy Lieutenant of Wiltshire).

Buckingham Palace 

The Earl of Wessex, President, Creative Youth, and President, National Youth Music Theatre, this evening attended a performance of Whistle Down the Wind as part of the International Youth Arts Festival at the Rose Theatre, 24-26 High Street, Kingston upon Thames, and was received by Colonel Geoffrey Godbold (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

Buckingham Palace 

The Princess Royal, President, Royal Yachting Association, today visited the Christian Youth Enterprises Sailing Centre, Jubilee Building, Chidham, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of West Sussex (Mrs Susan Pyper).

Kensington Palace 

The Duke of Gloucester this afternoon departed Heathrow Airport, London, for South Korea.

Lieutenant Colonel Alastair Todd is in attendance.

St James’s Palace 

The Duke of Kent, President, Royal National Lifeboat Institution, this evening attended a Dinner at Trinity House, Tower Hill, London EC3.
