COURT CIRCULAR

Buckingham Palace 

The Countess of Wessex, Bicentenary Patron, Border Union Agricultural Society, today attended the Border Union Show at Springwood Park, Kelso, Roxburghshire, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Roxburgh, Ettrick and Lauderdale (Captain the Hon Gerald Maitland-Carew).

Buckingham Palace 

The Princess Royal this afternoon attended The King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Ascot Racecourse, Berkshire.

Kensington Palace 

The Duke of Gloucester today carried out the following engagements in Seoul, the Republic of Korea.

His Royal Highness this morning toured the United Nations Exhibition Hall and attended the National Ceremony for United Nations Korean War Veterans at the National War Memorial, 29 Itaewan-ro, Yongsan-gu.

The Duke of Gloucester later attended a Head of Delegation Luncheon given by The President of the Republic of Korea at the Blue House, 1 Chungwadae-ro, Jongno-gu.

His Royal Highness this afternoon toured Bukcheon, Gahoi-dong, Jongno-gu.

The Duke of Gloucester afterwards received the Rt Hon John Key MP (Prime Minister of New Zealand).

His Royal Highness this evening received Mr Chun Hong-won (Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea) at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, 322 Sowol-ro, Yongsan-gu.

The Duke of Gloucester subsequently attended a Banquet for Korean War Veterans of all Nations given by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea at the Grand Hyatt Hotel.

St James’s Palace 

The Duke of Kent, President-in-Chief, the British Racing Drivers’ Club, this morning attended the Silverstone Classic Festival at Silverstone Circuit, Towcester, Northamptonshire.
