The Duke of York this morning arrived at Noi Bai International Airport, Hanoi, and was received by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (His Excellency Dr Anthony Stokes).
His Royal Highness this afternoon attended a Meeting at the Institute for Defence and International Relations at the Ministry of Defence Palace, Hanoi.
The Duke of York this evening attended a Reception to mark the Fortieth Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between the United Kingdom and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam at the Residence in Hanoi.
His Royal Highness later attended a Business Dinner at the Sofitel Legend Metropole Hotel, Hanoi.

The Earl of Wessex this morning opened University Technical College, New Market Street, Wigan, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater Manchester (Mr Warren Smith).
His Royal Highness afterwards visited Wigan Youth Zone, Parsons Walk, Wigan.
The Earl of Wessex this afternoon opened St. Catherine’s Health Centre, Church Road, Birkenhead, Cheshire, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Merseyside (Dame Lorna Muirhead).
His Royal Highness later re-opened Liverpool Central Library, William Brown Street, Liverpool.
The Countess of Wessex this morning held a Meeting with His Excellency Sheikh Ahmed Bin Mohammed Bin Jabr Al Thani (Minister’s Assistant For International Cooperation Affairs) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Doha, Qatar.
Her Royal Highness, Patron, Vision 2020: the Right to Sight, and Global Ambassador, International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness, today hosted a series of visits by Qatari dignitaries on the Orbis Flying Eye Hospital at Doha International Airport and was received by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the State of Qatar (His Excellency Mr Nicholas Hopton).
The Countess of Wessex this evening attended a Dinner given by Her Majesty’s Ambassador at the Residence in Doha.

The Duke of Kent this morning visited Benoy Limited, Handley House, Northgate, Newark, and was received by Colonel Timothy Richmond (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Nottinghamshire).
His Royal Highness this afternoon visited Timico Technology Group, Brunel Business Park, Jessop Close, Newark.
The Duke of Kent later visited Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust’s Attenborough Nature Reserve, Barton Lane, Attenborough, Nottingham.
