The Duke of Edinburgh, Patron, Cheam School Association, this morning opened the new Art, Design and Technology Centre at Cheam School, Headley, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire (Dame Mary Fagan).

The Prince of Wales this morning visited P. D. Ports, 17-27 Queen’s Square, Middlesbrough, Cleveland, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of North Yorkshire (the Lord Crathorne).
His Royal Highness, President, The Prince’s Foundation for Building Community, afterwards visited Kirkleatham Estate, Redcar, before attending a Reception at Kirkleatham Hall for local civic, business and community leaders.

The Duke of Cambridge, Patron, this morning visited Centrepoint, Dundas Street, Sunderland, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Tyne and Wear (Mr Nigel Sherlock).
His Royal Highness later officially opened Haven Point Leisure Centre, Pier Parade, South Shields, Tyne and Wear.
The Duke of Cambridge afterwards attended a workshop with the Diana Award at Haven Point Leisure Centre.

The Countess of Wessex this morning arrived at Heathrow Airport, London, from Hong Kong.

The Princess Royal, Honorary Fellow, Harper Adams University, was installed as Chancellor this morning at St Peter’s Church, Edgmond, near Newport, and afterwards attended a Reception at Harper Adams University, Edgmond, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Shropshire (Mr Algernon Heber-Percy).

The Duchess of Gloucester, President, Royal Academy of Music, was present this afternoon at the conferment of Honorary Membership upon Mr Christoph von Dohnányi at the Royal Academy of Music, Marylebone Road, London NW1.
Her Royal Highness, President, this evening attended a performance of Cendrillon at the Royal Academy of Music.
