COURT CIRCULAR

Buckingham Palace

His Excellency Mr Abdullahi Mohamed Ali was received in audience by The Queen today and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Federal Republic of Somalia to the Court of St James’s.

His Excellency Mr Juan Falconi Puig was received in audience by Her Majesty and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from Ecuador to the Court of St James’s.

Sir Simon Fraser (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs) was present.

Field Marshal the Lord Guthrie of Craigiebank was received by The Queen when Her Majesty handed him his Field Marshal’s Baton.

Mr Keith Griffiths was received by The Queen when Her Majesty decorated him with the Royal Victorian Medal (Gold).

The Queen was represented by the Right Reverend Christopher Hill (Clerk of the Closet and Head of Her Majesty’s College of Chaplains) at the Funeral of the Reverend Canon William Matthews (Chaplain to The Queen) which was held in St Giles Parish Church, Balderton, Newark, Nottinghamshire, this afternoon.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales this morning received Mr Feike Sijbesma (Chief Executive Officer, Royal DSM).

His Royal Highness received Mr Mark Carney (Governor of the Bank of England).

The Prince of Wales this afternoon attended a Reception to mark the Fiftieth Anniversary of the Disasters Emergency Committee, Lancaster House, London SW1.

His Royal Highness, President, The Prince’s Drawing School, later held a Meeting at Clarence House.

The Prince of Wales afterwards received Mrs Rovana Plumb (Romanian Minister of Environment and Climate Change).

His Royal Highness this evening attended a Dinner to celebrate One Hundred Years of Heritage Protection at Kenwood House, Hampstead Lane, London NW3.

The Duchess of Cornwall this afternoon received Princess Laurentien of the Netherlands.

Her Royal Highness, Patron, this afternoon held a Reception to mark the Twentieth Anniversary of the National Literacy Trust at Clarence House.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Cambridge, Patron, the Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry, this morning attended a Coach Core project and coaching session at Westway Sports Centre, One Crowthorne Road, London W10.

Buckingham Palace

The Duke of York, Commodore-in-Chief, Fleet Air Arm, this morning visited the Royal Naval Air Station, Culdrose, Helston, Cornwall.

His Royal Highness this afternoon visited the Tremough Innovation Centre, Tremough Campus, Penryn, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Cornwall (Colonel Edward Bolitho).

Buckingham Palace

The Princess Royal, Colonel, The Blues and Royals (Royal Horse Guards and 1st Dragoons), this morning attended a Household Cavalry Regiment Freedom March in Windsor followed by a Medals Parade at Combermere Barracks, Windsor, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the Royal County of Berkshire (the Hon Mrs Bayliss).

Her Royal Highness, President, Save the Children UK, this afternoon visited a Shop at 2 William Street, Windsor.

The Princess Royal, Patron, the Jubilee Woods Project, this evening held a Dinner at Windsor Castle.

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Kent, Fellow, the Royal Society, today visited Chicheley Hall, Chicheley, Buckinghamshire.
