Clarence House

The Prince of Wales, Patron, The Prince’s Countryside Fund, this afternoon attended a Reception at Williams Hall, Dark Lane, Stoke St Gregory, for local residents, farmers and emergency services personnel who have been affected by the recent flooding on the Somerset Levels, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Somerset (Lady Gass).

His Royal Highness later visited the flood-hit community of Muchelney and met a local farming family at Thorney Moor Farm, Langport, Somerset.

The Duchess of Cornwall, President, this afternoon held a Luncheon at Clarence House to mark the Eightieth Anniversary of the Brooke Hospital for Animals.

Buckingham Palace

The Duke of York, Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Irish Regiment (27th (Inniskilling), 83rd, 87th and The Ulster Defence Regiment) this morning received Lieutenant General Sir Philip Trousdell upon relinquishing his appointment as Colonel of the Regiment and Brigadier Joseph O’Sullivan upon assuming the appointment.

His Royal Highness this afternoon held a Meeting for the Saudi British Business Council at Lancaster House, London SW1.

The Duke of York later held a Reception for the Saudi British Business Council at St James’s Palace.

Buckingham Palace

The Earl of Wessex, President, Sport and Recreation Alliance, this afternoon attended a Lunch at the Goring Hotel, 15 Beeston Place, London SW1.

The Countess of Wessex this morning departed from Heathrow Airport, London, for Switzerland and arrived this afternoon at Geneva International Airport.

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Combined Services Winter Sports Association, this evening watched the Snowboard Parallel Slalom Floodlit Finals in Meribel, France.

The Countess of Wessex, Patron, Combined Services Winter Sports Association, later attended a Dinner at l’Orée Du Bois Hotel, Meribel.

Miss Sarah Sienesi is in attendance.

Buckingham Palace

The Princess Royal, Chancellor, University of London, this morning visited International College of Economics and Finance, National Research University — Higher School of Economics, 26 Shabolovka Street, Moscow, Russia.

Her Royal Highness, Member, International Olympic Committee, this evening attended a Reception at Rus Hotel and Spa, Polytechnique Street, Sochi.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, Grand Prior, the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem, this morning received Professor Anthony Mellows upon relinquishing his appointment as Lord Prior.

The Duchess of Gloucester this afternoon arrived at Heathrow Airport, London, from the United States of America.

Mrs. Euan McCorquodale was in attendance.
