The Duke of Edinburgh, Patron, the Canada Club, this evening attended a Reception at Buckingham Palace to mark the Sixtieth Anniversary of His Royal Highness’s patronage of the Canada Club.
The Queen was represented by Prince Henry of Wales at the Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of Mr Nelson Mandela OM which was held in Westminster Abbey, London SW1, today.
By command of Her Majesty, Mr Alistair Harrison (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) today received His Excellency Mr Khouanta Phalivong at Ambassadors Court, St James’s Palace, in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as Ambassador from the Lao People’s Democratic Republic to the Court of St James’s.
