The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge today carried out the following engagements in Canberra, Australia.

Their Royal Highnesses this morning visited the National Arboretum.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge this afternoon attended a Reception at Parliament House given by the Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Australia and Mrs Abbott.

Their Royal Highnesses afterwards visited the National Portrait Gallery of Australia.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge this evening attended a Reception at Government House given by the Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia and Lady Cosgrove.

Buckingham Palace

The Earl of Wessex and The Countess of Wessex, Patron, Meningitis Now, this morning celebrated World Meningitis Day at Fern House, Bath Road, Stroud, and were received by Mr Robert Bernays (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire).

The Earl of Wessex afterwards opened the Business Hub at Vantage Point, Mitcheldean, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire (Dame Janet Trotter).

His Royal Highness this afternoon visited Clearwell Caves, near Coleford, Gloucestershire.

The Earl and Countess of Wessex subsequently visited Verderers Court, Speech House Hotel, near Coleford.

Their Royal Highnesses later visited St Mary’s Church, Newent, Gloucestershire, to mark the renovation of the Church Tower.

The Earl and Countess of Wessex afterwards attended a Reception at the Three Choirs Vineyard, Newent, and were received by Mr Ceri Evans (Deputy Lieutenant of Gloucestershire).

The Countess of Wessex this morning visited the Orchard Trust, Lower Lydbrook, Gloucestershire.

The Duke of Gloucester today visited Greater Manchester and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant (Mr. Warren Smith).

His Royal Highness this afternoon opened Oldham College, Rochdale Road, Oldham.

The Duke of Gloucester afterwards opened Waterhead Academy, Oldham.

His Royal Highness later visited Mono Pumps Limited, Martin Street, Audenshaw.

The Duke of Gloucester subsequently visited the Monastery, Gorton Lane, Manchester.

His Royal Highness, Patron, St. George’s Society of New York, this evening attended a Dinner to mark the One Hundred and Twentieth Anniversary of the Royal Society of St. George at the Monastery, Gorton Lane, Manchester.

The Duchess of Gloucester, Patron, Shine, today received Mrs. Jacqueline Bland (Chief Executive).
