Buckingham Palace

The Earl of Wessex, Lord High Commissioner to the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, and The Countess of Wessex this morning attended the General Assembly at Assembly Hall, Mound Place, Edinburgh.

His Royal Highness, Lord High Commissioner to the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, and Her Royal Highness this afternoon attended the Closing Sederunt of the General Assembly at Assembly Hall.

The Countess of Wessex, Patron, this morning visited Tomorrow’s People at the offices of Pinsent Masons, Princes Exchange, 1 Earl Grey Street, Edinburgh, and was received by Ms. Lezley Cameron (Deputy Lieutenant of the City of Edinburgh).

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, Patron, Construction Youth Trust, this morning received Mr. Rodney Bennion upon relinquishing his appointment as Chairman and Mr. Andrew Wates upon assuming the appointment. Mrs. Christine Townley (Director) was present.

His Royal Highness, Chancellor, University of Worcester, this afternoon received Professor David Green (Vice Chancellor) and Mr. John Ryan (University Secretary).

The Duke of Gloucester, Patron, the Gilbert and Sullivan Society, this evening attended a Convention Dinner at Grim’s Dyke Hotel, Old Redding, Harrow Weald, Middlesex, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir David Brewer).

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Kent this morning visited the Devon County Show at the County Showground, Westpoint, Clyst St. Mary, Exeter, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Devon (Sir Eric Dancer).
