COURT CIRCULAR

Buckingham Palace

The Queen held a Council at 6.15 pm.

There were present: the Rt. Hon. Nicholas Clegg MP (Lord President), the Rt. Hon. Gregory Clark MP (Minister of State, Cabinet Office, Cities and Constitution), the Rt. Hon. Theresa May MP (Secretary of State for the Home Department) and the Rt. Hon. George Osborne MP (Chancellor of the Exchequer, H.M. Treasury).

The Rt. Hon. Esther McVey MP and the Rt. Hon. Nicola Morgan MP were sworn in as members of Her Majesty’s Most Honourable Privy Council.

Mrs. Ceri King was in attendance as Deputy Clerk of the Council.

The Rt. Hon. Nicholas Clegg MP had an audience of Her Majesty before the Council.

The Prince of Wales this morning gave the Opening Address at the Conference on Inclusive Capitalism: Building Value, Renewing Trust, at Mansion House, London EC4.

Kensington Palace

The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester today visited Cornwall and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant (Colonel Edward Bolitho).

Their Royal Highnesses this afternoon visited Penlee House Gallery and Museum, Morrab Road, Penzance, to mark the Four Hundredth Anniversary of the Charter of the Incorporation of Penzance.

The Duke of Gloucester later visited Penzance Promenade and unveiled a replica boundary stone at Wherrytown.

His Royal Highness afterwards visited the Camborne Pool Redruth Food Bank at Centenary Chapel, Wesley Street, Camborne.

The Duke of Gloucester subsequently visited Godolphin House, Godolphin Cross, Helston.

The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester later visited Porthleven Harbour.

The Duke of Gloucester, Royal Colonel, this evening visited 6th Battalion The Rifles at Moresk Drill Hall, Moresk Road, Truro.

The Duchess of Gloucester this afternoon visited Mullion Harbour, Mullion Cove, Mullion, and was received by Mr. James Williams (Deputy Lieutenant of Cornwall).

Her Royal Highness afterwards visited Trenance Chocolate Factory, Mullion.

The Duchess of Gloucester subsequently visited Origin Coffee, the Roastery, Wheal Vrose Business Park, Helston.

Her Royal Highness, Royal Patron, TR14ers, this evening visited the Community Dance Team at Camborne Wesley Methodist Church, Chapel Street, Camborne.

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Kent this morning officially re-opened Ramsgate Tunnels, Marina Esplanade, Ramsgate, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Kent (the Viscount De L’Isle).

His Royal Highness later visited Royal Temple Yacht Club and met Maritime Studies students from the Royal Temple Yacht Club Academy, 6 Westcliff Mansions, Ramsgate.

The Duke of Kent this afternoon visited Pugin’s Church of St. Augustine, St. Augustine’s Road, Ramsgate.

His Royal Highness later visited Thanet Earth, Barrow Man Road, Birchington, Kent.

Thatched House Lodge, Richmond Park

Princess Alexandra, President, Royal Humane Society, this morning attended the Annual General Court at Haberdashers’ Hall, 18 West Smithfield, London EC1.
