The Queen was represented by Major Sir Shane Blewitt (Extra Equerry to The Queen) at the Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of Mr Gordon Franklin (formerly Personnel Officer for the Royal Household) which was held at the Methodist Church, Windsor, Berkshire, this afternoon.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales, Patron, Music in Country Churches, and The Duchess of Cornwall this evening attended a Concert in the Church of St Mary the Virgin, Old Hunstanton, and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Norfolk (Mr Richard Jewson).

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Cambridge and Prince Henry of Wales, Joint Patrons, the Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry, this morning attended a Coach Core sports training session at Glasgow Club Gorbals, 275 Ballater Street, Glasgow, and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Glasgow (Councillor Sadie Docherty, the Rt Hon the Lord Provost).

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Henry of Wales this afternoon attended the XX Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

The Duchess of Cambridge, Patron, SportsAid, this morning attended a Reception at Home Nation House, Finnieston Quay, Glasgow, and was received by Mrs Jean McFadden (Deputy Lieutenant of the City of Glasgow).

The Duke of York today visited those serving in Afghanistan at Camp Bastion.

The Earl of Wessex, Vice Patron, Commonwealth Games Federation, and The Countess of Wessex today attended the XX Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

The Duke of Gloucester, Deputy Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Logistic Corps, this morning departed Royal Air Force Northolt for Germany.

His Royal Highness this afternoon attended the 2 Logistic Support Disbandment Parade at Princess Royal Barracks, Gütersloh.

The Duke of Gloucester this evening arrived at Royal Air Force Northolt from Germany.

Lieutenant Colonel Alastair Todd was in attendance.
