By command of The Queen, Mr Alistair Harrison (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon His Excellency Mr Khalid Rashid Al-Hamoudi Al-Mansouri at 1 South Audley Street, London W1, this afternoon in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as Ambassador from the State of Qatar to the Court of St James’s.

Prince Henry of Wales, Patron, WellChild, this afternoon attended a Reception and Awards Ceremony at the Hilton on Park Lane Hotel, 22 Park Lane, London W1, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir David Brewer).

Buckingham Palace

The Duke of York, Chairman of the Steering Board, this afternoon held a Meeting at Buckingham Palace for Inspiring Digital Enterprise Award (iDEA).

His Royal Highness, Fellow, the Royal Society, this evening attended an Advisory Board Dinner at 6-9 Carlton House Terrace, London SW1.

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, this afternoon held a Meeting at Buckingham Palace.

His Royal Highness, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, this evening attended a Friends Reception followed by Dinner at the Macquarie Group London, 28 Ropemaker Street, London EC2.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, Patron, British Mexican Society, this evening attended a Reception at the Residence of His Excellency the Mexican Ambassador in London.

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Kent this morning officially opened Tonbridge Memorial Gardens, 46 Coventry Road, Tonbridge, before attending a Service in the Gardens and laying a wreath and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Kent (the Viscount De L’Isle).

His Royal Highness this afternoon attended a Service at Chatham Historic Dockyard, Church Lane, Chatham, Kent, to commemorate the loss of three Royal Navy cruisers at the start of World War I.
