COURT CIRCULAR

Windsor Castle

The Queen, accompanied by The Duke of Edinburgh and The Duke of Cambridge, laid a wreath at the Cenotaph this morning to commemorate the Centenary of the Gallipoli Campaign.

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh this afternoon attended a Service of Commemoration to mark the Centenary of the ANZAC Landings in Westminster Abbey and were received by the Dean of Westminster (the Very Reverend Dr John Hall), the High Commissioner for the Commonwealth of Australia (His Excellency the Hon Alexander Downer) and the High Commissioner for New Zealand (His Excellency Dr the Rt Hon Sir Lockwood Smith).

The Duke of Edinburgh, Patron, the Gallipoli Association, this morning attended a Wreath laying Ceremony at St Paul’s Cathedral, London EC4.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales and Prince Henry of Wales this morning attended a Dawn Service at ANZAC Cove to mark the One Hundredth Anniversary of the Gallipoli Landings.

Their Royal Highnesses later attended a Breakfast Reception at the Kum Hotel given by the Australian Ambassador to the Republic of Turkey (His Excellency Mr James Larsen) and the New Zealand Ambassador to the Republic of Turkey (His Excellency Mr Jonathan Curr), and The Prince of Wales subsequently attended a Reception with Australian War Widows at the Kum Hotel.

The Prince of Wales and Prince Henry of Wales later attended the Australian Service of Thanksgiving at Lone Pine, Gallipoli.

Their Royal Highnesses this afternoon attended a Service of Thanksgiving at the 57th Regiment Memorial.

The Prince of Wales and Prince Henry of Wales later attended the New Zealand Service of Thanksgiving at Chunuk Bair, Gallipoli.

The Prince of Wales this evening arrived at Dyce Airport, Aberdeen from Turkey.

Mr James Bowden, Mr Craig Kowalik and Lieutenant Colonel David Bevan were in attendance.

Kensington Palace

Prince Henry of Wales this evening arrived at Royal Air Force Northolt from Turkey.

Mr Edward Lane Fox and Lieutenant Commander James Benbow were in attendance.

Buckingham Palace

The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this morning attended a Dawn Service to mark the One Hundredth Anniversary of the ANZAC Landings at Gallipoli, Wellington Arch, Hyde Park Corner, London W1, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir David Brewer).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Transaid, this afternoon attended the Northampton Saints versus Saracens Rugby Union Match at Stadiummk, Stadium Way, Grafton Street, Bletchley, Milton Keynes, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire (Sir Henry Aubrey-Fletcher, Bt.).

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Kent, President, Commonwealth War Graves Commission, this morning attended the ANZAC Day Dawn Service at the Australian War Memorial, Treloar Crescent, Campbell, Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, Australia.

His Royal Highness, President, Commonwealth War Graves Commission, later attended the National ANZAC Day Service at the Australian War Memorial.

The Duke of Kent this evening attended a Dinner at Government House and was received by the Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia (General the Hon. Sir Peter Cosgrove).
