The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh left Royal Air Force Northolt this afternoon for the State Visit to Germany.
Her Majesty and His Royal Highness were received at the Airport by the Earl Peel (Lord Chamberlain), Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Mr Kenneth Olisa) and Minister Tania von Uslar-Gleichen (Deputy Ambassador, German Embassy).
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh this afternoon arrived at Berlin Tegel Airport, were received by the Ambassador from the Federal Republic of Germany to London (Dr Peter Ammon) and Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany (His Excellency Sir Simon McDonald).
Her Majesty and His Royal Highness witnessed a fly past by two Eurofighter Typhoons and were received with a Royal Salute.
