The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh, with The President of the Federal Republic of Germany and Ms Daniela Schadt, today visited Frankfurt and were received at Frankfurt Airport by Mr Volker Bouffier (Minister-President of the State of Hesse) and Her Majesty’s Consul-General for Frankfurt (Mrs Susan Speller).

Her Majesty and His Royal Highness, with The President and Ms Schadt, drove to Paulskirche, Paulsplatz, were received by the Mayor of Frankfurt (Mayor Peter Feldmann) and met community representatives.

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh, with The President of the Federal Republic of Germany and Ms Daniela Schadt, this afternoon walked to the Römer and were entertained to Luncheon in the Imperial Hall by the Minister-President of the State of Hesse and the Mayor of Frankfurt.

Afterwards Her Majesty and His Royal Highness walked through the Römerberg.

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh, with The President of the Federal Republic of Germany and Ms. Daniela Schadt, this evening attended a Garden Party given by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany and Lady McDonald at the Residence in Berlin.

Afterwards The President and Ms Schadt bade farewell to Her Majesty and His Royal Highness.

The Princess Royal, on behalf of The Queen, held an Investiture at Buckingham Palace this morning.

Clarence House

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay and The Duchess of Rothesay this morning attended the Dumfries House Textiles Festival at Dumfries House, Cumnock, Ayrshire.

His Royal Highness, President, the Great Steward of Scotland’s Dumfries House Trust, this evening held a Dinner at Dumfries House.

Buckingham Palace

The Duke of York this morning attended a Church Service at St Faith’s Church, Waterloo, Merseyside, to mark the Centenary of Merchant Taylors’ Schools, Crosby, Combined Cadet Force and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Merseyside (Dame Lorna Muirhead).

His Royal Highness, Colonel-in-Chief, Small Arms School Corps, and Patron, Army Rifle Association, this afternoon presented The Queen’s Medals to prize winners from the Royal Navy and Royal Marines, the Army and the Royal Air Force at the National Shooting Centre, Bisley, Surrey.

Buckingham Palace

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, this evening attended a Reception at St James’s Palace for the Philadelphia Boulé.

His Royal Highness, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, afterwards held a Dinner at Buckingham Palace for the Australian Award.

Buckingham Palace

The Princess Royal, Royal Patron, Hft, this afternoon attended a Reception at Arley Hall, Northwich, and was received by Mrs Joelle Warren (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Cheshire).

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, Chancellor, University of Worcester, this evening attended the Universities UK Chancellors’ Reception at Warwick Business School, the Shard, London SE1.

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Kent, Royal Patron, the American Air Museum in Britain, this morning received Air Chief Marshal Sir Peter Squire upon relinquishing his appointment as President.

Buckingham Palace

Princess Alexandra, Royal Patron, this evening visited Masterpiece London at the Royal Hospital Chelsea, London SW3.
