Buckingham Palace

The Queen, Duke of Lancaster today received Mr Mark Hudson (Chairman of the Council of the Duchy of Lancaster) and Mr Nathan Thompson (Chief Executive).

Her Majesty, Colonel-in-Chief, Royal Tank Regiment, received Lieutenant General Sir Christopher Deverell upon relinquishing his appointment as Colonel Commandant and Major General John Patterson upon assuming the appointment.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales, Duke of Cornwall, President, the Marine Conservation Society, and The Duchess of Cornwall this morning visited an Ocean Plastics Beach Festival on Fistral Beach, Newquay, and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Cornwall (Colonel Edward Bolitho).

His Royal Highness, Duke of Cornwall afterwards undertook Duchy of Cornwall visits in the Newquay area.

The Duchess of Cornwall this morning visited the Defence Survival, Evasion, Resistance, Extraction Training Organisation at Royal Air Force St Mawgan, Newquay.

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust, this afternoon visited the Headquarters of Cornwall Air Ambulance, Trevithick Downs, Newquay, and was received by Mrs Ellen Winser (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Cornwall).

The Duke of York, Patron, English National Ballet, this morning received Mr Justin Bickle (Chairman) and Mrs Caroline Thomson (Executive Director).

His Royal Highness, Chairman of the Trustees, Outward Bound Trust, this afternoon received Mr Nicholas Barrett (Chief Executive).

Buckingham Palace

The Princess Royal, President, this morning visited the Save the Children UK shop at 17 Scotch Street, Carlisle, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Cumbria (Mrs Peter Hensman).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, the National Association of Citizens Advice Bureaux, afterwards visited the Carlisle and Eden Bureau, 5-6 Old Post Office Court, Carlisle.

The Princess Royal subsequently visited the Cumberland News, Newspaper House, Dalston Road, Carlisle, to mark its Two Hundredth Anniversary.

Her Royal Highness this afternoon opened the Lakes Distillery, Bassenthwaite Lake, and was received by Mr Charles Woodhouse (Deputy Lieutenant of Cumbria).

The Princess Royal this evening attended the Andrew Simpson Sailing Foundation Gala Dinner at Ben Ainslie Racing, the Camber, East Street, Portsmouth, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire (Mr Nigel Atkinson).

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, Patron, the Kensington Society, this afternoon received Mrs Amanda Frame (Chairman) and Mr Richard Selby (Partner, Brockton Capital LLP).

The Duchess of Gloucester this afternoon officially opened the Oakwood Unit at Prospect Park Hospital, Honey End Lane, Tilehurst, Reading, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the Royal County of Berkshire (Mr James Puxley).

Her Royal Highness afterwards visited SHOC, Slough Homeless Our Concern, Serena Hall, Burlington Avenue, Slough, and was received by Mr Gordon Storey (Deputy Lieutenant of the Royal County of Berkshire).
