The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were represented by Major Thomas Wills (formerly Lieutenant, The Queen’s Body Guard of the Yeomen of the Guard) at the joint Service of Celebration, Remembrance and Thanksgiving for the Lives of Colonel Alan Pemberton (formerly Lieutenant, The Queen’s Body Guard of the Yeomen of the Guard) and Mrs Alan Pemberton which was held in the Parish Church of St Peter, Black Lion Lane, London W6, this morning.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Cambridge and Prince Henry of Wales this morning attended the filming of DIY SOS: the Big Build, Veterans’ Specialat Canada Street, Manchester, and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater Manchester (Mr Warren Smith).

Buckingham Palace

The Duke of York this afternoon attended Pitch@Palace on Tour for entrepreneurs and potential supporters at Dynamic Earth, Holyrood Road, Edinburgh, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Edinburgh (Councillor Donald Wilson, the Rt Hon the Lord Provost).

His Royal Highness later held a Pitch@Palace on Tour Reception for entrepreneurs and potential supporters at the Palace of Holyroodhouse.

The Duke of York, Chairman of the Trustees, the Outward Bound Trust, this evening held a Dinner at the Palace of Holyroodhouse.

Buckingham Palace

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award, this morning held a Meeting.

His Royal Highness this afternoon visited Wilson’s School, Mollison Drive, Wallington, Surrey, to mark its Four Hundredth Anniversary and was received by Major Christopher Goodwin (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

The Countess of Wessex this morning opened Sandford St. Martin’s Primary School, Sandford, Wareham, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Dorset (Mr Angus Campbell).

Her Royal Highness this afternoon visited Heatherlands Centre, Barns Road, Ferndown, Dorset.

The Countess of Wessex later visited Shaftesbury Trinity Centre Trust, Trinity Centre, Bimport, Shaftesbury, Dorset.

Buckingham Palace

The Princess Royal, Patron, Scottish Rugby Union, this afternoon attended the Scotland versus Japan Rugby World Cup Pool Match at Kingsholm Stadium, Kingsholm Road, Gloucester, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire (Dame Janet Trotter).

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, Royal Colonel, 6th Battalion The Rifles, this evening attended the book launch of Oft in Danger: the Life and Campaigns of General Sir Anthony Farrar-Hockley at the Oriental Club, Stratford House, 11 Stratford Place, London W1.

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Kent, Patron, this morning visited the International Musicians Seminar at Prussia Cove, Rosudgeon, and was received by Mrs Ellen Winser (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Cornwall).
