Buckingham Palace

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh gave a Reception at Buckingham Palace this evening when Her Majesty presented the second Queen Elizabeth Prize for Engineering.

The Duke of York, accompanied by Princess Eugenie of York, The Princess Royal and Princess Alexandra, the Hon Lady Ogilvy were present.

By command of The Queen, Mr Alistair Harrison (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon His Excellency Mr Julio Munoz-Deacon at 34 Porchester Terrace, London W2, this morning in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as Ambassador from the Republic of Peru to the Court of St James’s.

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were represented by Mr David Fursdon (Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Devon) at the Memorial Service for the Earl of Morley (formerly Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Devon) which was held at St Andrew’s Church, Buckland Monachorum, Devon, this afternoon.

The Prince of Wales was represented by Sir Eric Dancer.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales, Patron, the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, this evening held a Dinner at Clarence House.

Kensington Palace

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Henry of Wales this morning attended creative industries-themed workshops for Their Royal Highnesses’ Charities Forum, at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, 195 Piccadilly, London W1.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Henry of Wales this evening attended the Royal Film Performance of Spectre in aid of the Cinema and Television Benevolent Fund, Shelterbox and Save the Children, at the Royal Albert Hall, London SW7, and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Mr Kenneth Olisa).

Buckingham Palace

The Earl of Wessex this afternoon departed Heathrow Airport, London, for Canada.

His Royal Highness this evening attended the Toronto Scottish Anniversary Parade and Reception at the Bellenden Hutcheson Armoury, Toronto, Ontario.

Mr Timothy Roberts is in attendance.

Buckingham Palace

The Princess Royal, Patron, the Pony Club, this afternoon attended the Eridge Hunt Branch Champion Headwear Pony Club Race Day at Lingfield Park Racecourse and was received by Mr Peter Lee (Deputy Lieutenant of Surrey).

Kensington Palace

The Duchess of Gloucester this morning arrived at Gatwick Airport, London, from Bermuda.

Lieutenant Colonel Alastair Todd was in attendance.

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Kent today visited Banffshire and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant (Mrs Oliver Russell).

His Royal Highness this afternoon opened Cullen Sea School, 1 Port Long Road, Cullen.

The Duke of Kent later attended a Lunch at Duff House, Banff.

His Royal Highness afterwards unveiled a new memorial in Whitehills to fishermen and seafarers who have lost their lives at sea.

The Duke of Kent subsequently opened the Boatshed, the Salmon Bothy, Links Road, Portsoy.

His Royal Highness, Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, was represented by Major General Bryan Webster (Area Colonel London) at a Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of Sir Paul Newall (Honorary Colonel, The London Regiment) which was held at St Stephen’s Church, Walbrook, London EC4, this afternoon.
