The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge today carried out the following engagements in Assam, India.

Their Royal Highnesses this morning visited Kaziranga National Park.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge subsequently met park rangers working to combat rhino poaching in Kaziranga National Park.

Their Royal Highnesses later afterwards visited Pan Bari Village.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge this afternoon visited the Centre for Wildlife Rehabilitation and Conservation.

Their Royal Highnesses later launched the Elephant Parade in India at Kaziranga Discovery Park.

Buckingham Palace

The Duke of York this morning opened the Hypnos Contract Beds factory in Station Road, Castle Donington, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Leicestershire (Jennifer, Lady Gretton).

His Royal Highness later visited Ashridge Executive Education, Hult International Business School, Ashridge, Berkhamsted, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Hertfordshire (the Countess of Verulam).

The Princess Royal, President, Carers Trust, this morning visited Wigan and Leigh Carers Centre, 3-5 Frederick Street, Hindley, Wigan, and was received by Mrs. Edith Conn (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Greater Manchester).

Her Royal Highness, President, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Commonwealth Study Conferences, today carried out the following engagements as part of the Commonwealth Study Conferences Leaders Conference Study Tour.

The Princess Royal this afternoon visited ANS, Synergy House, Manchester Science Park, Guildhall Close, Manchester.

Her Royal Highness later visited Connell Sixth Form College, 301 Alan Turing Way, Manchester.

The Princess Royal subsequently visited Southway Housing Trust Ageing Well Project at St. Christopher’s Church Hall, Moorgate Avenue, Old Moat, Withington, Manchester.

Her Royal Highness later visited ITV North Studios, MediaCityUK, Salford, Greater Manchester.

The Duke of Gloucester this morning opened Wat Santiwongsaram Temple, 107 Handsworth Wood Road, Handsworth Wood, Birmingham, and was received by Mrs. Jenny Loynton (Deputy Lieutenant of West Midlands).

His Royal Highness afterwards visited Soho House, Birmingham, to mark the Two Hundred and Fiftieth Anniversary of the Lunar Society and was received by Mr. David Clarke (Deputy Lieutenant of West Midlands).

The Duke of Gloucester this afternoon opened Birmingham Dogs Home Rehoming and Welfare Centre, Birmingham Centre, Catherine-de-Barnes Lane, Catherine-de-Barnes, Solihull, and was received by the Earl of Aylesford (Deputy Lieutenant of West Midlands).

His Royal Highness, Companion, City of Coventry Freemen’s Guilds, later visited Council House, Earl Street, Coventry, to celebrate their Seventieth Anniversary and was received by Colonel George Marsh (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of West Midlands).

The Duchess of Gloucester, Patron, this morning attended a Service of Thanksgiving in Peterborough Cathedral to mark the Fiftieth Anniversary of Shine, followed by a Reception.

St. James’s Palace

The Duke of Kent, Grand Master, the United Grand Lodge of England, this morning received Mr. Peter Lowndes (Pro Grand Master) and Mr. Anthony Wilson (President of the Board of General Purposes).

His Royal Highness, Chancellor, this evening attended the Alf Adams Lecture at the University of Surrey, Guildford, Surrey.

Princess Alexandra, Patron, this afternoon attended the Spring Graduation Ceremony at the House of St. Barnabas, 1 Greek Street, Soho Square, London W1.
