The Duke of Cambridge, on behalf of The Queen, held an Investiture at Buckingham Palace this morning.
The President of the United States of America and Mrs. Obama were entertained to Dinner by The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Henry of Wales this evening at Kensington Palace.
The Earl of Wessex, Commodore-in-Chief, Royal Fleet Auxiliary, this afternoon attended a Rededication Service for the Falklands Memorial at the Church of St John the Apostle, Main Road, Marchwood, and, having been received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire (Mr Nigel Atkinson), afterwards attended a Reception at Marchwood Village Hall.
His Royal Highness, Honorary Colonel, The London Regiment, was represented by Colonel Marc Overton (Regimental Lieutenant Colonel) at the Funeral of Major Stuart Young (formerly Regimental Secretary, A Company (London Scottish), The London Regiment) which was held in St Columba’s Church of Scotland, Pont Street, London SW1, this morning.
The Princess Royal this morning opened the first phase of the Ulster University Belfast Campus redevelopment, York Street, Belfast, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the County Borough of Belfast (Mrs Fionnuala Jay-O’Boyle).
Her Royal Highness this afternoon attended a Reception to mark the One Hundred and Fiftieth Anniversary of the Royal Ulster Yacht Club, 101 Clifton Road, Bangor, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of County Down (Mr David Lindsay).
The Princess Royal, Patron, First World War Centenary Woods Project, later attended a Reception in Bangor.
