COURT CIRCULAR

Buckingham Palace

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh this afternoon attended a Reception at St. James’s Palace for the Association of Lord-Lieutenants and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Lancashire and the Chairman of the Association (the Lord Shuttleworth).

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh gave an Afternoon Party in the garden of Buckingham Palace.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Princess Beatrice of York, Princess Eugenie of York, The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester and The Duke of Kent were present.

Her Majesty’s Body Guard of the Honourable Corps of Gentlemen-at-Arms and The Queen’s Body Guard of the Yeomen of the Guard were on duty.

The Bands of the Irish Guards and The King’s Division played selections of music during the afternoon.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales this morning received the First Minister of Northern Ireland (Mrs. Arlene Foster MLA).

His Royal Highness received Mr. Martin McGuinness MLA (Deputy First Minister of Northern Ireland).

The Prince of Wales afterwards visited Portico Arts and Heritage Centre, Meeting House Street, Portaferry, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of County Down (Mr. David Lindsay).

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this afternoon visited the Yellow Door Delicatessen, Woodhouse Street, Portadown, and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of County Armagh (the Earl of Caledon).

Their Royal Highnesses later visited Ulster Carpets, Castleisland Factory, Garvaghy Road, Craigavon, County Armagh.

The Prince of Wales afterwards visited the Museum of Orange Heritage, Main Street, Loughgall, Belfast.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this evening attended a Concert and Reception at Hillsborough Castle.

The Duchess of Cornwall this afternoon visited Armagh Cider Company, Drumnasoo Road, Portadown, and was received by Mr. Richard Hamilton-Stubber (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of County Armagh).

Buckingham Palace

The Duke of York this morning visited Plumen, 60-62 Commercial Street, London E1.

His Royal Highness, Patron, later visited the Trampery, 239 Old Street, London EC1.

The Duke of York, Chairman, Quad Centenary Council, and Patron, Royal Blackheath Golf Club, this evening attended a Dinner at HM Tower of London for the Quad Centenary Club.

Buckingham Palace

The Earl of Wessex, Chairman, the Board of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, today undertook engagements in Accra and was received at Flagstaff House by the British High Commissioner to the Republic of Ghana (His Excellency Mr. Jonathan Benjamin).

His Royal Highness was this morning received by The President of the Republic of Ghana at Flagstaff House.

The Earl of Wessex afterwards attended a Reception for young people who have achieved the Gold Standard in the Award and the launch of the Online Record Book for Ghana at Flagstaff House.

His Royal Highness this afternoon attended a Lunch at Kempinski Hotel, Gamel Abdul Nasser Avenue.

The Earl of Wessex afterwards opened the new reception area at the British Council, 11 Liberia Road.

His Royal Highness this evening attended a World Fellows Dinner at the Residence.

Buckingham Palace

The Princess Royal, Patron, sports coach United Kingdom, this morning received Mrs. Gillian Wilmot upon assuming the appointment of Chairman.

Her Royal Highness, Patron, National Museum of the Royal Navy, later unveiled HMS HOOD’s Bell during a Drumhead Service on HMS VICTORY Parade Square, before opening the temporary exhibition “36 Hours: Jutland 1916, the Battle that Won the War” at the National Museum of the Royal Navy, Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, HM Naval Base, Portsmouth, and was received by Rear Admiral Ian Henderson, Royal Navy (Deputy Lieutenant of Hampshire).

The Princess Royal, Patron, Women’s Royal Naval Service Benevolent Trust, this afternoon attended the Annual General Meeting and Reception at the National Museum of the Royal Navy.

Her Royal Highness, Patron, First World War Centenary Woods Project, this evening attended a Reception at the Naval Club, 38 Hill Street, London W1, and was received by Dr. Paul Knapman (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).
