Clarence House

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay this morning visited Margaret Morrison Sporrans, Ruthenfield Grove, Inveralmond Industrial Estate, Perth, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Perth and Kinross (Brigadier Melville Jameson).

His Royal Highness, Patron, the Abbeyfield Society, afterwards visited Viewlands House, 25 Viewlands Road, Perth.

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay, Admiral of the Fleet, this afternoon visited HMS PRINCE OF WALES, Rosyth Business Park, Rosyth, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Fife (Mr. Robert Balfour).

The Duke and Duchess of Rothesay this afternoon visited the “Clò Mòr – Harris to Paris” Exhibition, part of the Edinburgh International Fashion Festival, Waldorf Astoria Hotel, Princes Street, Edinburgh, and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Edinburgh (Councillor Donald Wilson, the Rt. Hon. the Lord Provost).

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay, President, Step up to Serve, this evening held a Reception at the Palace of Holyroodhouse.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Cambridge this morning arrived at Heathrow Airport, London, from France.

Lieutenant Commander James Benbow RN was in attendance.

Prince Henry of Wales, Vice Patron, Rugby Football Union, this afternoon met the Under 20s England Rugby Team and took part in a StreetGames community event at Alexandra Park, Stockport, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater Manchester (Mr. Warren Smith).

Buckingham Palace

The Duke of York, Chairman of the Trustees, Outward Bound Trust, today held a Trustees’ Meeting and gave a Luncheon for the Patron’s Company.

His Royal Highness, Commodore, the Royal Thames Yacht Club, this afternoon received Mr. Bernard Kinchin (Vice Commodore) and Captain David Freeman RN (Secretary).

The Duke of York, Patron, Baker Dearing Educational Trust, later held a Reception for University Technical College Governors at St. James’s Palace.

His Royal Highness this evening held a Dinner for the Red Arrows at Buckingham Palace.

Buckingham Palace

The Earl and Countess of Wessex this morning departed from Heathrow Airport, London, for Canada and were received on arrival this afternoon at Toronto Pearson International Airport by the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario (the Hon. Elizabeth Dowdeswell).

Their Royal Highnesses, accompanied by the Lieutenant Governor, travelled on the Union Pearson Express train to Union Station, Toronto.

The Earl of Wessex, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, and The Countess of Wessex, Global Ambassador, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, this evening attended a Charter for Business Dinner at Commerce Court West, 25 King Street West, Toronto.

Mr. Timothy Roberts is in attendance.

Buckingham Palace

The Princess Royal this morning dedicated a Poppy Sculpture, Marlowe Way, Royal Wootton Bassett, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Wiltshire (Mrs. Peter Troughton).

Her Royal Highness, Visitor, Dorothy House Hospice Care, this afternoon attended a Fortieth Anniversary Garden Party, Dorothy House, Winsley, Bradford-on-Avon, and was received by Mr. Robert Floyd (Deputy Lieutenant of Wiltshire).

The Princess Royal, Renter Warden, the Fishmongers’ Company, later was elected as Second Warden of the Company at a Court Meeting at Fishmongers’ Hall, London Bridge, London EC4, and afterwards attended the Election Day Service in St. Magnus-the-Martyr, Lower Thames Street, London EC3, followed by a Dinner at Fishmongers’ Hall.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, Vice Patron, the Almshouse Association, this afternoon presented the Patron’s Awards at the Charity of Elizabeth Jane Jones, the Assembly Hall, the Fairholme, Staines Road, Feltham, Middlesex.
