COURT CIRCULAR

Buckingham Palace

His Excellency Mr. Mark Regev was received in audience by The Queen today and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the State of Israel to the Court of St. James’s.

Mrs. Regev was also received by Her Majesty.

Her Excellency Mrs. Tamar Beruchashvili was received in audience by The Queen and presented the Letters of Recall of her predecessor and her own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from Georgia to the Court of St. James’s.

Mr. Rema Gvamichava was also received by Her Majesty.

Sir Simon McDonald (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs) was present.

The Queen, Patron, Royal Academy of Dance, afterwards received Sir Matthew Bourne (Choreographer and Director) and presented him with the Queen Elizabeth II Coronation Award.

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay this morning visited Bute Fabrics, 4 Barone Road, Rothesay, Isle of Bute, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Argyll and Bute (Mr. Patrick Stewart).

His Royal Highness this afternoon visited the Howard Doris Centre, Mill Brae, Lochcarron, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Ross and Cromarty (Mrs. Christopher Bowen).

Buckingham Palace

The Earl of Wessex, Patron, this morning attended a Meeting at the Globe Theatre, Saskatchewan, 1801 Searth Street, Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada.

His Royal Highness, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, this afternoon attended a Reception at Olympic Park Calgary, Alberta, for young people who have reached the Gold Standard in the Award and to mark the Diamond Anniversary.

The Earl and Countess of Wessex this evening attended a Reception given by the Government of Alberta at the Studio Bell home of the National Music Centre, 134 11 Avenue South East, Calgary.

Their Royal Highnesses this evening departed Calgary International Airport for the United Kingdom.

The Countess of Wessex, Colonel-in-Chief, South Alberta Light Horse, this morning held a Meeting at the Fairmont Hotel MacDonald, 10065 100 Street North West, Edmonton, Alberta.

Her Royal Highness, Colonel-in-Chief, South Alberta Light Horse, afterwards attended a Dedication Ceremony at Light Horse Park, 10324 85 Avenue North West, Edmonton.

The Countess of Wessex this afternoon visited wildfire affected communities in Wood Buffalo, Fort McMurray, Alberta, and was received by the Governor-General of Canada (the Rt. Hon. David Johnston).

Buckingham Palace

The Princess Royal this morning received Mr. Andrew Finding upon relinquishing his appointment as Chief Executive of the British Equestrian Federation.

Her Royal Highness, President, Riding for the Disabled Association, later attended a Horse Rangers Open Day at the Stockyard, Bushy Park, Hampton Court Road, Hampton, Middlesex, and was received by Colonel Geoffrey Godbold (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, Commodore, and The Duchess of Gloucester this afternoon attended the Royal Ulster Yacht Club Regatta in Bangor and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of County Down (Mr. David Lindsay).

His Royal Highness, Honorary President, the Somme Association, and Her Royal Highness this evening attended a Civic Dinner at Belfast City Hall to mark the Centenary of the Battle of the Somme and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the County Borough of Belfast (Mrs. Fionnuala Jay-O’Boyle).

Princess Alexandra this evening attended the St. George’s House Annual Lecture in St. George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle.
