Buckingham Palace

Mr. Graham Sharpe was received by The Queen this afternoon when Her Majesty invested him with the Insignia of a Commander of the Royal Victorian Order.

The Rt. Hon. David Cameron MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of The Queen this evening.

The Duke of Edinburgh was present at the Funeral of Sir Brian McGrath (Extra Equerry to The Duke of Edinburgh and formerly Private Secretary and Treasurer to His Royal Highness) which was held in St. Barnabas Church, Peasemore, Berkshire, this morning.

His Royal Highness, Patron, London Youth, this evening visited Ignite Trust, 1A Headstone Drive, Harrow, and Cedars Youth and Community Centre, Chicheley Road, Harrow, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Mr. Kenneth Olisa).

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were represented by Marshal of the Royal Air Force the Lord Stirrup KG (formerly Chief of the Defence Staff and Aide-de-Camp) at the Service of Thanksgiving for the Life and Work of Marshal of the Royal Air Force Sir Michael Beetham (formerly Chief of the Defence Staff and Aide-de-Camp) which was held in St. Clement Danes Church, Strand, London WC2, this morning.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall were represented by Air Chief Marshal Sir Stephen Dalton.

The Duke of York was represented by Air Marshal Sir David Walker.

The Prince of Wales, Past President, Royal Norfolk Agricultural Association, and The Duchess of Cornwall this afternoon attended the Royal Norfolk Show at the Royal Norfolk Agricultural Association Showground, Dereham Road, Norwich, and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Norfolk (Mr. Richard Jewson).

The Duke of Cambridge and Prince Henry of Wales were represented by Miss Helen Asprey at the Funeral of Sir Brian McGrath (Extra Equerry to The Duke of Edinburgh and formerly Private Secretary and Treasurer to His Royal Highness) which was held in St. Barnabas Church, Peasemore, Berkshire, this morning.

The Duke of York this morning called upon Tunku Puteri Intan at the Istana Negara, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

His Royal Highness today visited Epsom College in Malaysia, Bandar Enstek, and opened The Duke of York Theatre.

The Duke of York subsequently attended a Lunch for Education is Great.

His Royal Highness this afternoon called upon The Sultan of Johor at the Istana Bukit Serene, Johor Bahru.

The Duke of York was represented by Captain Robert Guy at the Funeral of Sir Brian McGrath (Extra Equerry to The Duke of Edinburgh and formerly Private Secretary and Treasurer to His Royal Highness) which was held in St. Barnabas Church, Peasemore, Berkshire, this morning.

The Earl of Wessex, Chancellor, the University of Bath, this morning presided at Degree Congregations at the Abbey, Bath, Somerset.

The Countess of Wessex, also representing The Earl of Wessex, was present at the Funeral of Sir Brian McGrath (Extra Equerry to The Duke of Edinburgh and formerly Private Secretary and Treasurer to His Royal Highness) which was held in St. Barnabas Church, Peasemore, Berkshire, this morning.

Her Royal Highness, Colonel-in-Chief, Corps of Army Music, this afternoon visited Kneller Hall, Kneller Hall Road, Twickenham, Middlesex.

The Princess Royal, Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Newfoundland Regiment, this morning unveiled a Danger Tree Memorial and attended a Reception before presenting new Regimental Colours to the Second Battalion The Royal Newfoundland Regiment at Memorial University Grenfell Campus, University Drive, Corner Brook, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.

Her Royal Highness, Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Newfoundland Regiment, this evening attend a Dinner given by the Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador (the Hon. Frank Fagan) at Government House, Military Road, St. John’s.

The Princess Royal was represented by the Hon. Dame Shan Legge-Bourke at the Funeral of Sir Brian McGrath (Extra Equerry to The Duke of Edinburgh and formerly Private Secretary and Treasurer to His Royal Highness) which was held in St. Barnabas Church, Peasemore, Berkshire, this morning.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester this morning opened the newly renovated Dalkeith Corn Exchange, 200 High Street, Dalkeith, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Midlothian, (Sir Robert Clerk, Bt.)

His Royal Highness this afternoon visited Dalkeith Country Park, Dalkeith, to mark the restoration of the Stableyard and Coach House and was received by Lieutenant Colonel Richard Callander (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Midlothian).

The Duke of Gloucester afterwards presented The Queen’s Award for Enterprise: Innovation to Procure Wizard, Bilston Glen Business Centre, 6 Dryden Road, Loanhead, Edinburgh.

The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester were represented by Major Charles MacEwan at the Funeral of Sir Brian McGrath (Extra Equerry to The Duke of Edinburgh and formerly Private Secretary and Treasurer to His Royal Highness) which was held at St. Barnabas Church, Peasemore, Berkshire, this morning.

The Duke of Kent, Patron, Opera North, this afternoon attended a performance of “Die Walküre” at the Royal Festival Hall, Southbank Centre, Belvedere Road, London SE1.

Princess Alexandra, Patron, HMS WARRIOR 1860, was represented by Commander Timothy Ash RN at the Memorial Service for Captain Colin Allen RN which was held on board HMS WARRIOR, HM Naval Base, Portsmouth, Hampshire, this afternoon.
