Buckingham Palace

By command of The Queen, Mr Alistair Harrison (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon His Excellency Mr Yackoley Kokou Johnson at 83 Baker Street, London W1, this morning in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as Ambassador from the Togolese Republic to the Court of St James’s.

By command of Her Majesty, the Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps called upon His Excellency Mr João de Vallera at 11 Belgrave Square, London SW1, this afternoon in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as Ambassador from the Portuguese Republic to the Court of St James’s.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales, President, the Three Choirs Festival Association, this evening attended a performance of Mendelssohn’s Elijah in Gloucester Cathedral and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire (Dame Janet Trotter).

Buckingham Palace

The Duke of York this morning opened New Traditional Chinese Gate, Wardour Street, London W1, and was received by Mr Thomas Chan (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).
