The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge this morning attended a Children’s Party at Government House, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.

Buckingham Palace

The Duke of York this morning attended a Stem4Girls Exposition at Francistown College of Technical Vocational Education, Kazungula Road, Francistown, Botswana.

His Royal Highness afterwards visited Botswana Meat Commission, Francistown.

The Duke of York this afternoon received representatives from the Francistown Solar Energy Park Project, at Cresta Marang Gardens Hotel, Francistown.

His Royal Highness later attended a Reception in the gardens of the Cresta Marang Gardens Hotel.

The Duke of York, representing The Queen, this evening attended the Fiftieth Anniversary Celebrations of Botswana’s Independence, in the National Stadium, Gabarone.

Buckingham Palace

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, today carried out engagements in South Wales to celebrate the Award’s Diamond Anniversary.

His Royal Highness this morning attended the Cardiff Breakfast Club Meeting at St. David’s Hotel and Spa, Havannah Street, Cardiff.

The Earl of Wessex later visited HM Prison and Young Offenders Institution Parc, Heol Hopcyn John, Bridgend, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Mid Glamorgan (Mrs Kathrin Thomas).

His Royal Highness afterwards visited the Army Reserve Centre, Territorial Army Centre, Alamein Road, Morfa Industrial Estate, Swansea, for the Air Training Corps’ Seventy Fifth Anniversary and the Eightieth Anniversary of Swansea Sea Cadets Celebration and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of West Glamorgan (Mr Byron Lewis).

The Earl of Wessex this afternoon opened the Alex Design Exchange building, the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, Swansea College of Art, Dynevor Centre, De La Beche Road, Swansea.

His Royal Highness this evening attended a Gala performance at the Empire Theatre, Lime Street, Liverpool, to celebrate the One Hundred and Fiftieth Anniversary and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Merseyside (Dame Lorna Muirhead).

The Countess of Wessex, Fellow, Royal Agricultural Societies, today held a Meeting.

The Duke of Gloucester this afternoon visited Belton House, Grantham, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Lincolnshire (Mr Toby Dennis).

His Royal Highness afterwards visited the Woodland Trust’s Londonthorpe Wood, Grantham.

The Duke of Gloucester this evening attended a Reception at Prince William of Gloucester Barracks, Grantham, to commemorate the Centenary of the Barracks.

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Kent, Grand Master, United Grand Lodge of England, this morning opened the Three Centuries of Freemasonry exhibition at the Library and Museum of Freemasonry, Freemasons’ Hall, Great Queen Street, London WC2.

Princess Alexandra, President, Sightsavers, this morning departed from Heathrow Airport, London, for the United States of America.
