The Queen was represented by The Prince of Wales at the State Memorial and State Funeral of Mr Shimon Peres (Ninth President of the State of Israel) which was held at Mount Herzl, Jerusalem, this morning.

The Prince of Wales this morning arrived at Ben Gurion Airport, Tel Aviv, and was received by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the State of Israel (His Excellency Mr David Quarrey).
His Royal Highness was received by The President of the State of Israel this afternoon.
The Prince of Wales this evening arrived at Dyce Airport, Aberdeen, from Israel.
Mr James Bowden and Miss Eva Omaghomi were in attendance.
Kensington Palace
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge this afternoon attended a First Nations Cultural Ceremony at the Haida Heritage Centre and Museum, Skidegate, British Columbia, Canada.
Their Royal Highnesses afterwards officially opened the Haida Gwaii Hospital and Care Centre, Skidegate.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge later joined young people from Skidegate Youth Centre in a fishing expedition on Hecate Strait.

The Duke of York, representing The Queen, this morning attended the Fiftieth Anniversary Celebrations of Botswana’s Independence, in the National Stadium, Gabarone.
His Royal Highness this afternoon attended the State Luncheon at the Indoor Stadium, University of Botswana, Gabarone, to mark the Fiftieth Anniversary of Independence.
The Duke of York later departed Sir Seretse Khama Airport for the United Kingdom.
