By command of The Queen, Mr. Alistair Harrison (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon His Excellency Mr. Erzhan Kazykhanov at 125 Pall Mall, London SW1, this afternoon in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as Ambassador from the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Court of St. James’s.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales, Chairman, the Royal Collection Trust, was represented by Sir Hugh Roberts (formerly Director of the Royal Collection and Surveyor Emeritus of The Queen’s Works of Art) at the Memorial Service for Mr. Giles Waterfield (formerly Founding Director, Royal Collection Studies) which was held in St. Martin-in-the-Fields, Trafalgar Square, London WC2, this afternoon.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Cambridge, Patron, Child Bereavement UK, and The Duchess of Cambridge this afternoon visited a Child Bereavement UK Centre at the Stratford Advice Arcade, 107-109 the Grove, London E15, and were received by Mr. John Barber (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London)

The Duchess of Cambridge, Patron, Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families, this morning visited the Early Years Parenting Unit, 38 Mayton Street, London N7.

Buckingham Palace

The Countess of Wessex, Royal Colonel, 5th Battalion The Rifles, this morning opened the Corporals’ Mess during a visit to Ward Barracks, Bulford Camp, Salisbury, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Wiltshire (Mrs. Peter Troughton).

Buckingham Palace

The Princess Royal, Patron, First World War Centenary Woods Project, this morning received Baroness Young of Old Scone upon assuming the appointment of Chairman.

Mrs. Rebecca Speight (Chief Executive, the Woodland Trust) was present.

The Princess Royal, President, Royal Yachting Association, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, later attended the London Boat Show at ExCel, One Western Gateway, Royal Victoria Dock, London E16.

The Princess Royal this afternoon attended a Reception for the Conference of Speakers and Presiding Officers of the Commonwealth Standing Committee at Speaker’s House, House of Commons, London SW1.

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Opportunity International UK, later received Mr. Clifford Hampton upon assuming the appointment of Chairman.

Mr. Edward Fox (Chief Executive) was present.

The Princess Royal, President, RedR UK, this evening held a Dinner at St. James’s Palace.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, Patron, Heritage of London Trust, this evening attended a Reception at C. Hoare and Company, 37 Fleet Street, London EC4.
