The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were represented by Mr. William Tucker (Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Derbyshire) at the Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of Sir John Bather (formerly Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Derbyshire) which was held in Derby Cathedral this afternoon.

The Prince of Wales was represented by the Duke of Devonshire.

The Earl of Wessex was represented by Dame Sarah Goad.

The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester were represented by Lord Ralph Kerr.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales today visited Leicester and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Leicestershire (Jennifer, Lady Gretton).

His Royal Highness, President, The Prince’s Trust, this morning visited City of Leicester College, Downing Drive.

The Prince of Wales afterwards attended a British Army Community Cohesion Flagship Event, St. Philip’s Centre, 2 Stoughton Drive North.

His Royal Highness this afternoon visited Westcotes Library, Narborough Road.

The Prince of Wales later visited Mountsorrel and Rothley Community Heritage Centre, Bond Lane, Rothley.

The Duchess of Cornwall was today installed as a Liveryman of the Vintners’ Company, Vintners’ Hall, Upper Thames Street, London EC4.

Her Royal Highness, President, the United Kingdom Vineyards Association, this evening gave a Reception at Clarence House to mark their Fiftieth Anniversary.

Kensington Palace

Prince Henry of Wales this evening attended an Armed Forces mental health round table Dinner at the Royal College of Psychiatrists, 21 Prescot Street, London E1.

Buckingham Palace

The Earl of Wessex, Honorary Colonel, The London Regiment, this afternoon held a Meeting.

The Princess Royal, Chancellor, University of London, this morning opened the renovated Garden Halls of Residence, Cartwright Gardens, London WC1.

Her Royal Highness this afternoon visited Valley Grown Nurseries, Paynes Lane, Nazeing, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Essex (the Lord Petre).

The Princess Royal, Patron, the National Association of Citizens Advice Bureaux, later opened the new Epping Forest District Citizens Advice Bureau, 50A Hemnall Street, Epping, and was received by Mr. Michael Chapman (Deputy Lieutenant of Essex).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this evening attended a Reception at Admiralty House, followed by Dinner onboard HMS Victory, HM Naval Base, Portsmouth, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire (Mr. Nigel Atkinson).

Buckingham Palace

Princess Alexandra this evening attended a Concert by the Young Musicians Symphony Orchestra at St. John’s, Smith Square, London SW1.
