His Royal Highness received the Rt Hon Amber Rudd MP (Secretary of State for the Home Department).

The Prince of Wales received the Rt Hon Sajid Javid MP (Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government).

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Cambridge this afternoon received the Rt Hon Andrea Leadsom MP (Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs).

The Duchess of Cambridge, Patron, this evening attended the Portrait Gala at the National Portrait Gallery, St Martin’s Place, London WC2.

Buckingham Palace

The Earl of Wessex, Past Master, the Worshipful Company of Gardeners, this morning held a Meeting.

His Royal Highness, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, this afternoon held a Meeting.

The Earl of Wessex, President, Seafarers UK (King George’s Fund for Sailors), this evening attended the Centenary Dinner at Guildhall, Gresham Street, London EC2.

Buckingham Palace

The Princess Royal, Chancellor, University of London, this afternoon opened the new Reception Building at City, University of London, Northampton Square, London EC1, and was received by Dr Charles Goodson-Wickes (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

Her Royal Highness, President, UK Fashion and Textile Association, later opened the new Workshop at Alex Monroe Jewellery, 42 Tower Bridge Road, London SE1, to mark the Thirtieth Anniversary of the Company.

The Princess Royal, President, Royal Commission for the Exhibition of 1851, this evening attended the President’s Dinner, Armourers’ Hall, 80 Coleman Street, London EC2.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester this morning opened the Thomas Robinson Building, Stourbridge Registration Office, Cemetery Road, Stourbridge, and was received by Mr Richard Boot (Deputy Lieutenant of West Midlands).

His Royal Highness this afternoon opened West Midlands Construction University Technical College, Springfield Campus, Cambridge Street, Wolverhampton, and was received by Mr Satya Sharma (Deputy Lieutenant of West Midlands).

The Duke of Gloucester afterwards visited Compton Hospice Limited, 4 Compton Road West, Wolverhampton, to mark their Thirty Fifth Anniversary, and was received by Dr Keith Bradshaw (Deputy Lieutenant of West Midlands).

The Duchess of Gloucester this morning officially opened St Helen’s Junior School, Eastbury Road, Northwood, and was received by Mr Bruce Houlder (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

Her Royal Highness, President, Princess Helena College, afterwards opened the Heritage Wall and unveiled a foundation stone for the new Performing Arts Centre at the College, Preston, Hitchin, and was received by Mrs Sally Burton (Deputy Lieutenant of Hertfordshire).
